Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan penggunaan kalimat dalam makalah mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian berupa 25 makalah yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) tahun akademik 2016/2017. Teknik pengumpulkan data menggunakan dokumentatif, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan prosedur kerja analisis kesalahan berbahasa yang meliputi, identifikasi data, klasifikasi data, dan penentuan frekuensi kesalahan, serta menyajikan perbaikannya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh 94 kesalahan berbahasa yang meliputi kesalahan dalam aspek struktur kalimat 24,7%, kesejajaran 16,5%, ejaan 26,8%, diksi 23,7%, dan kelogisan 5,32 %. Kesalahan terbanyak dalam penggunaan kalimat efektif terdapat pada kesalahan penggunaan struktur kalimat, ejaan, dan diksi. Oleh karena itu, perlu upaya yang harus dilakukan dalam mengatasi kesalahan penggunaaan kalimat dengan membaca buku tata bahasa atau PUEBI, kamus, dan buku-buku penunjang lainnya. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi pada perbaikan bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia dan teknik penyajian dalam proses pembelajaran.
Abstract:. Learning to read Bahasa Indonesia at grade IV A SD Negeri 01 Metro Pusat in the implementation still dominate by teachers with Lecture Methods (teacher centered) so the learning process is not optimal, so the students are less interested and not giving attention. This study aims to improve reading skills through the application of language games (catharsis) at grade IV A SD Negeri 01 Metro Pusat. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive through the test and reading skill assessment sheet. Data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result of data analysis explain that the students reading skill on cycle I (74,42%), cycle II (83,72%), increased by 9,3% and on cycle III become (90,70%) so that it increased by 6,98 %.Keywords: skill, reading, language game (catharsis). Abstrak: Pembelajaran membaca bahasa Indonesia di kelas IVA SD Negeri 01 Metro Pusat dalam pelaksanaannya guru masih mendominasi dengan metode ceramah (teacher centered) sehingga proses pembelajarannya belum optimal, akibatnya siswa kurang tertarik dan kurang memperhatikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca melalui penerapan permainan bahasa (katarsis) di kelas IVA SD Negeri 01 Metro Pusat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif melalui lembar tes, dan lembar penilaian keterampilan membaca. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data diperoleh keterampilan membaca siswa pada siklus I (74,42%), siklus II (83,72%), mengalami peningkatan sebesar 9,3% dan siklus III menjadi (90,70%) sehingga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 6,98%.Kata kunci: keterampilan, membaca, permainan bahasa (katarsis).
The purpose of this paper is to explain whether there is an impact of hate speech and hoax news in social media exposure-either directly or indirectly through the level of media literacy-on prejudice and religious intolerance among teenagers. In general, the result of this research shows that there is a significant effect of hate speech and hoax news in social media exposure to prejudice and religious intolerance. The research findings show that teenagers who are exposed to hate speech and hoax news on social media are adolescents who have a low level of media literacy. The results of this study indicate that among teenagers who have been exposed to hate speech and hoax news in social media affect their prejudice and religious intolerance because of low levels of media literacy. Therefore, it is necessary to increase media literacy for teenagers so that they are not exposed to hate speech and hoax news in social media to minimize prejudice and religious intolerance.
This study aims to know the level of understanding of UNM student’s experiencing misconceptions, understand the concept and do not understand the concept about cell biology using Two-Tier MCQs method. This research includes descriptive research. In this study, the Two-Tier MCQs method to identify student’s misconceptions. Population in this research is all student of study program of biology of UNM class 2015. Samples in this research as many as 20 people who tried randomly. Instruments used to test Two-Tier MCQs and interview methods to determine the causes of misconceptions. The result of data analysis shows that the highest misconception is in the mate rial structure and function of mitochondria and the lowest is in the cell cycle material.
It is necessary to develop metacognitive skills-based teaching materials to foster mathematical problem-solving abilities. This research is a research and development. Method used for development using four phases: Design, Construction, Testing, Evaluation and Revision. The criteria used to assess the quality of the learning device refer to the material quality criteria namely: validity, practicality, effectiveness. Subject of trials in this research are 25 students of XI IPA-4 and 25 students of XI IPA-2. Two indicators of this study are metacognitive skills and problem solving. Metacognitive skills are: prediction skills, planning skills, monitoring skills, and evaluation skills. Indicators of problem solving are: understanding the problem, devising a plan, carrying out the plan, and looking back. The data are collected by giving Tests and questionnaires, and through observations. The research instruments are: questionnaire of validation for teaching materials, student questionnaire responses to instructional materials, observation sheet activities of learners, observation sheets of learning implementation and learning management observation sheet. The result of this research is metacognitive skills-based teaching materials are succeeded (fulfilling the criteria of valid, practical, and effective) to emerge students mathematical problem-solving.
The Arabic dictionary is the primary reference for students learning Arabic, mainly when translating. With advances in technology, dictionaries are no longer in sheets of paper but in digital form that mobile phones and desktops can be accessed. This study aimed to determine students' perceptions of the use of digital dictionaries and various aspects of the difficulties experienced by students. This exploratory research was conducted using a survey technique on randomly selected students, and a descriptive technique was used as an analytical tool. The number of respondents is as many as 100 students from 2 different universities. In general, answers related to students' perceptions can be mapped in several ways: 1) students’ ability to translate is still low. 2) students still have many difficulties when translating and how to use a dictionary. 3) dictionaries are still required, both digital and print. 4) google translate became the student's favorite dictionary. So, the author recommends special training in dictionaries at the beginning of lectures at the higher education level.
The purpose of this study was to improve the forehand dropshot technique in athletes aged 8-12 years in PB Sari Agung, Banyuwangi using the variation exercise method. This research is a sports action research using qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive methods using 2 cycles and there are 4 stages: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The subjects in this study were 20 athletes aged 8-12 years. The results of the research that have been done show that the success rate of athletes aged 8-12 years in cycle 1 with the overall completeness of the forehand dropshot technique is 53.70 percent of observer 1 and 54.94 percent of observer 2. While the success rate of age athletes 18-12 years in cycle 2 with the overall completeness percentage of the forehand dropshot technique is 82.22 percent from observer 1 and 84.44 percent from observer 2. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that using the variation exercise method can improve the forehand dropshot technique in athletes aged 8-12 years. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan teknik pukulan forehand dropshot pada atlet usia 8-12 tahun di PB Sari Agung Kabupaten Banyuwangi menggunakan metode variasi latihan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan olahraga dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan 2 siklus dan terdapat 4 tahapan yaitu: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan (observasi), dan (4) refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 atlet usia 8-12 tahun. Hasil dari penelitian yang sudah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keberhasilan atlet usia 8-12 tahun pada siklus 1 dengan persentase ketuntasan keseluruhan teknik pukulan forehand dropshot sebanyak 53,70 persen dari observer1 dan sebanyak 54,94 persen dari observer 2. Sedangkan tingkat keberhasilan atlet usia 18-12 tahun pada siklus 2 dengan persentase ketuntasan keseluruhan teknik pukulan forehand dropshot sebanyak 82,22 persen dari observer1 dan sebanyak 84,44 persen dari observer 2. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode variasi latihan dapat meningkatkan teknik pukulan forehand dropshot pada atlet usia 8-12 Tahun.
ABSTRAK: Semua pekerjaan dituntut agar dapat menghasilkan kualitas yang baik dengan waktu yang telah ditentukan. Salah satunya adalah pekerjaan proyek konstruksi yang saat ini mengalami perkembangan pesat di Indonesia dengan memperhatikan produktivitas kerja. Proyek konstruksi tidak lepas dari keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang bisa menunjang suatu pekerja bisa menyelesaikan pekerjaan. Serta lingkungan kerja yang mendukung suatu pekerjaan. Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja serta lingkungan kerja bisa mempengaruhi produktivitas kerja di suatu proyek konstruksi. Teknik pengambilan penelitian menggunakan metode non probability sampling disertai teknik purposive sampling dengan cara penyebara kuesioner. Responden penelitian adalah mandor, tukang dan pekerja kasar. Penyebaran kuesioner di 3 proyek, yaitu proyek pembangunan Rumah Sakit Katolik St Vicentius Paulo (RKZ), proyek pembangunan Apartmen Puncak Merr, dan proyek pembangunan Apartmen Belleview Manyar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian menyatakan bahwa variabel keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (X1) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja (Y) dengan nilai (T-statistic=14,487 dangt; 1,96) dan (P-values = 0,000 danlt; 0,05). Sedangkan untuk variabel lingkungan kerja (X2) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja (Y) dengan nilai (T-statistic= 3,962 dangt; 1,96) dan (P-values = 0,000 danlt; 0,05).
