Learning process during Covid-19 pandemic should have been anticipated because the 21st century and IR 4.0 era obligated teachers to facilitate student-centered learning and used of IT-based teaching materials, according students' needs and characteristics. Although, often found unqualify teaching materials. So, learning outcomes' target and students self' learning aspect will be obstructed. The research aimed to improve students self' learning and learning outcomes by implementing e-module. The research was final step of previous research (R D) which has produced a valid e-module. The research was the quantitative descriptive method. The research type used was quasi experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample technique used was purposive sampling with 30 students of SMPN 2 Kandis as sample. The data collection technique was used questionnaires of students self' learning and tests of learning outcomes as instruments. Data was analyzed by descriptive statistics (percentage) for questionnaires, and paired sample t-test and N-Gain for tests. The results showed that students self' learning increase after using e-module from 64.69% to 81.04% (medium-high category). Also with students learning outcomes, obtained t0 = 7.55 ≥ ttab = 1.69 (dk = 29, α = 0.05) which means there was an increase. Based N-Gain = 0.76, the increasing in medium category. Thus, the implementation of integrated sains e-module with connected type on energy subject can be an alternative to improve students self' learning and learning outcomes
It is necessary to develop metacognitive skills-based teaching materials to foster mathematical problem-solving abilities. This research is a research and development. Method used for development using four phases: Design, Construction, Testing, Evaluation and Revision. The criteria used to assess the quality of the learning device refer to the material quality criteria namely: validity, practicality, effectiveness. Subject of trials in this research are 25 students of XI IPA-4 and 25 students of XI IPA-2. Two indicators of this study are metacognitive skills and problem solving. Metacognitive skills are: prediction skills, planning skills, monitoring skills, and evaluation skills. Indicators of problem solving are: understanding the problem, devising a plan, carrying out the plan, and looking back. The data are collected by giving Tests and questionnaires, and through observations. The research instruments are: questionnaire of validation for teaching materials, student questionnaire responses to instructional materials, observation sheet activities of learners, observation sheets of learning implementation and learning management observation sheet. The result of this research is metacognitive skills-based teaching materials are succeeded (fulfilling the criteria of valid, practical, and effective) to emerge students mathematical problem-solving.
This study discusses the effect of punishments on student learning discipline in Islamic religious education subjects. With the existence of Islamic religious education in which there are religious values which are used as an effort to guide and practice Islamic teachings. Because punishment is an educational tool to support the smoothness of the educational process. One of the educational tools that can be used to improve discipline in learning is by giving punishment. This type of research method used is a type of experimental research. The research design used was Pre Experimental Design. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, observation and tests. The sample in this study were fourth grade students of SDN Cisetu III Rajagaluh. Analysis of the data used is the prerequisite test (normality and homogeneity ) and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the punishment for the discipline of student learning in the fourth grade Islamic religious education subject at SDN Cisetu III has an effect with t count 41.04 greater than t table 2.063 with a level significant 5%.
Efforts to improve the quality of Integrated Science learning for junior high schools in the era of globalization that are following the challenges of 21st-century education can be done through the use of connected type interactive e-modules. The study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the e-module on students' mastery of energy concepts. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative quasi-experimental type with a matching-only pretest-posttest control group design. The research was conducted in one of the public junior high schools in Bangkinang with a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using research instruments in the form of mastery of concepts in energy material. Data analysis was performed using pre-requisite test, statistical test (different test; t-test), and N-Gain test. The results obtained show that the use of the connected type of integrated science interactive e-module can improve students' mastery of concepts on energy material in the experimental class with the medium category.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
