Este estudio tiene por objeto identificar diferencias asociadas a la edad y al sexo en el autoconcepto social medido con el Cuestionario de Autoconcepto Social (AUSO), de Autor (2011), que consta de las escalas de responsabilidad social y de competencia social. Participaron en la investigación un total de 767 estudiantes, 318 hombres (41.5%) y 449 mujeres (58.5%), de entre 16 y 25 años (M = 19.97; DT = 1.86) divididos en dos grupos de edad (menores de 20 años y mayores de 20). Tras comprobar la invarianza factorial del cuestionario por sexo y edad, se verifican diferencias en la escala de responsabilidad social, y no en la de competencia social, a favor de las mujeres y del grupo de más edad. Estos resultados suponen un avance respecto a anteriores conocimientos sobre el desarrollo del autoconcepto social a la par que refrendan la calidad psicométrica del AUSO.
ResumenEl interés de las últimas décadas por conocer los factores implicados en el bienestar de los sujetos ha mostrado la estrecha relación entre la satisfacción vital y el autoconcepto físico. Contribuir a mejorar la autopercepción física de las personas, especialmente adolescentes y jóvenes, mejoraría tanto su salud física como mental, repercutiendo positivamente sobre su satisfacción vital. Pese a ello, no se conocen propuestas de intervención que desde una perspectiva multidimensional y cognitiva, traten de mejorar el autoconcepto físi-co de los jóvenes. En este estudio se evalúa la aplicación de un programa de estas características con 171 estudiantes de universidad; 112 sujetos en el grupo experimental (edad media 20.00, DT = 3.36) y 59 en el grupo control (edad media 20.10, DT = 3.44). Los resultados no indican mejoras estadísticamente significativas de los sujetos tras la intervención, no obstante ofrecen una información relevante que contribuye a perfilar las características a incluir en el diseño de futuras implementaciones más eficaces y exitosas.Palabras clave: autoconcepto físico, intervención cognitiva; programa psico-educativo; estudiantes universitarios. Para dar respuesta al desarrollo de las competencias transversales desde los Grados de Educación de la Escuela de Magisterio de Vitoria-Gasteiz (EMVG) se han implementado trabajos interdisciplinares de módulo innovadores basados en metodologías activas. En este trabajo se presenta una experiencia de Aprendizaje Basado en Problemas y Análisis de Caso relativa al 2º semestre del 2º curso. En total 171 estudiantes cumplimentaron el cuestionario de satisfacción con la nueva metodología. Los resultados indican que el alumnado está satisfecho con el trabajo interdisciplinar y que han conseguido desarrollar dichas competencias. Beraz, gai hori argitu ahal izateko asmoz, lan honen helburu nagusia da eskola giroa konstruktuaren berrikuspen teorikoa egitea, bai eta hura neurtzeko bideratutako tresnak aztertzea ere. Ondorioztatzen da herrialde anglosaxoietan aldagai horren dimentsioak ebaluatzeko garatu diren tresnak asko eta askotarikoak izan diren arren, gaztelaniaz onartu eta baliozkotu diren tresnak oso urriak direla oraindik. Horrela, agerian uzten da fidagarritasun eta baliozkotasun estandar unibertsalak betetzen dituen eta maila teorikoan babes handiena duten lau domeinuak (segurtasuna, harremanak, ingurumen-egitura alderdiak eta irakaskuntza-ikaskuntza) ebaluatzen dituen gaztelaniazko ebaluazio tresna bat izateko premia. El estudio de la implicación escolar (school engagement) constituye en la actualidad una línea de investigación de gran interés en el ámbito de la psicología de la educación. En este trabajo se realiza una revisión teórica actualizada de las principales contribuciones que la literatura científica ofrece sobre la conceptualización y la medida de la implicación escolar. Además, se analiza la variabilidad de la implicación escolar en función del sexo y la edad/nivel educativo, así como su relación con variables contextuales (apoyo social percibido de la familia, amistades y profesorado) y psicológicas (autoconcepto y resiliencia). Aunque la conceptualización del constructo varía en los trabajos revisados, hay consenso general respecto a su naturaleza multifacética, que incluye tres dimensiones recogidas en la mayor parte de los instrumentos de medida: conductual, emocional y cognitiva. Se comprueba que la evidencia empírica predominante muestra que las variables analizadas en este estudio guardan una asociación directa con diversos indicadores de ajuste escolar, siendo constatable el incipiente aumento de estudios que incluyen la implicación escolar. Por último, se elaboran las conclusiones en el marco de la psicología positiva y se exponen las cuestiones pendientes más relevantes para futuras investigaciones.
