This study aims to determine the feasibility and response of students to the optical devices learning book integrated with Pancasila practice values developed. The type of research used is Research and Development. The research steps are guided by the 4-D model. The subjects of this study were expert validators, practitioners, and class XI MAN 1 Yogyakarta students. Data collection in this study used a validation sheet and a questionnaire. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of expert validation analysis, practitioner assessment, and student responses are included in the category between “Good” to “Very Good” so that the optical devices learning book integrated with Pancasila practice values is declared feasible and suitable for use in learning.
This study aims to produce an integrated physics learning e-module with Pancasila character values in work and energy subjects that is feasible to use. The type of research used is research and development. The development procedure is guided by the 4-D model. Research subjects consisted of material experts, media experts, physics teachers, peer reviewers, and 30 students of class X MIPA SMA N 1 Gading Rejo. The data collection technique used observation techniques, literature study techniques, documentation, and questionnaire techniques. The research instruments used include observation sheets, product feasibility assessment sheets, and student response questionnaire. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed that the integrated physics learning e-module with Pancasila character values in work and energy subjects was feasible for use with the "Very Good" category based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, physics teachers, peer reviewers, and student responses. Based on these findings, the teacher can use this e-module as a reference for student learning resources in the learning process both inside and outside the classroom because the e-module has been tested for its feasibility.
This study aims to determine the specific needs, feasibility, and responses of teachers and students toward the developed physics learning media of monopoly game on the light and optical devices material. The research procedure was based on the 4-D model. The subjects of this study were the students of State Junior High School 2 Gadingrejo. Data was collected through questionnaire. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study were; 1) to know the specific needs in the form of filters by researchers to eliminate, replace, or modify the various components of the game into educational elements and the need for materials such as paper art paper and linen suitable for printing monopoly game designs; 2) to know the media feasibility through media and material expert’s judgement. The average scores gained through the expert judgment were 4.45 and 4.24 respectively that fall into a very high category; 3) Teacher and student responses fall into the very high category with the mean score of 4.24 from teachers, 4.53 from small group testing and 4.59 from field-testing.
One of the learning resources chosen to solve problems related to the low critical thinking ability and students' independence is modules. This research aims to reveal the effectiveness of an integrated physics learning e-module with Pancasila character values in work and energy subjects to improve students' critical thinking ability and independence. This research used a pre-experimental design with a pretest-post-test control group design. This design involved a total of 70 students from class X MIPA at SMA N 1 Kasihan with an average age of 15-16 years old. These research subjects were selected using a cluster sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were used to test techniques, namely the critical thinking ability test and questionnaire techniques. The data collection instrument used a test instrument for essential thinking ability and student independence questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was the n-gain analysis, Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) test, and effect size analysis by calculating the value of Cohen's f. This research indicates that the integrated physics learning e-module with Pancasila character values in work and energy subjects effectively improves students' critical thinking ability and independence.
