This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the learning problem based learning (PBL) model against understanding of concepts and critical thingking of students on senior high school temperature and heat material. Subjects in this study were students class X SMA N 1 waway karya lampung timur amounted to 70 student. The method used is a quasi experimental design with pretets-posttest control design. Data understanding of concepts and critical thingking were collected by instruments test essay questions. The obtained data then analyzed by using multivariate (MANOVA) test. The results of the analysis with spss 17.00 program show that there is a significant effect in applying the guided of the learning problem based learning (PBL) model against understanding of concepts and critical thingkingof students. The gain score of understanding of concepts in experimental class was 0,51and and the gain score in control class was 0,31 while the gain score of critical thingking in experimental class was0,58 and the gain score in control class was0,31. The effectiveness of the use models of problem based learning better in improving of understanding of concepts and critical thingking of students, it can be seen from the value obtained effect size of 0,66. In addition,based on manova test,the significance score of both understanding of concepts and critical thingking is less than 0.005. It can be concluded that there are significant effect of guided problem based learning and understanding of concepts and critical thingking of students on senior high school.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) terhadap pemahaman konsep dan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMA pada materi suhu dan kalor. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA N 1 waway karya lampung timur berjumlah 70 orang peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang dipilih yakni quasi eksperiment dengan desain pretets-posttest control design.Data pemahaman konsep dan berpikir kritis dikumpulkan melalui instrumen tes soal essay. Data yang diperoleh kemudian di analisis menggunakan uji multivariate (MANOVA). Hasil analisis data dengan program spss 17.00 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap pemahaman konsep dan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Nilai gain pemahaman konsep kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,51 dan nilai gain kelas kontrol sebesar 0,31 sedangkan nilai gain berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,58 dan nilai gain kelas kontrol sebesar 0,31. Efektivitas penggunaan model PBL lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan berpikir kritis peserta didik, ditunjukkan dengan nilai effect size pemahaman konsep sebesar 0,36 dan nilai effect size berpikir kritis sebesar 0,66. Selain itu berdasarkan hasil uji manova, baik nilai signifikansi pemahaman konsep maupun nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,005 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model PBL terhadap pemahamman konsep dan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMA.
The swift flow of globalization has led to increasingly eroded Indonesian local culturalvalues. This has caused a shift in neglected cultural values and local wisdom. Therefore,an approach is needed, namely ethnoscience in the learning process. This studypurposed to determine whether The Elementary School of Muhammadiyah Alam SuryaMentari has applied ethnoscience in science learning and describe the implementationof ethnoscience based on science learning in The Elementary School of MuhammadiyahAlam Surya Mentari.The method used was descriptive qualitative research design. Theresults of the study showed that the planning of science learning based on ethnoscienceapproach in This School was still unplanned, but the school had unconsciously implementedethnoscience approach. The implementation of science based on ethnosciencelearning was by integrating between the material with the environment, culture, and socialin the environment. Evaluation of the implementation of ethnoscience based on sciencelearning included cognitive, affective, and psychomotor evaluation in accordance withevaluation standards in the 2013 curriculum.
Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini diselenggarakan di Desa Bahari Kecamatan Sampolawa Kabupaten Buton Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Participatory Learning And Action (PLA) atau Proses Belajar dan Praktek secara Partisipatif. Tujuan dari pengabadian masyarakat dilaksanakan yaitu 1) Untuk memberikan pendampingan pembinaan tata administrasi desa menggunakan teknologi (Computer) kepada aparatur desa. 2) Untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada para aparatur desa terkait administrasi pemerintahan desa yang baik dan benar sebagai basis data dan informasi terdepan dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan dan pembangunan desa di Desa Bahari. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu 1) Aparatur Desa Bahari telah memahami penataan Administrasi Pemerintahan Desa yang baik dan benar sesuai dengan pedoman yang tertuang dalam Peraturan Menteri Dalam Negeri Nomor 47 tahun 2016. 2) Aparatur Desa Bahari telah mengetahui tata cara pembuatan dan pengisian administrasi pemerintahan desa menggunakan Computer, dan dapat mempraktekkannya dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan. This application applies the C4.5 Algorithm to decide customer satisfaction, the C4.5 algorithm is one of the algorithms used to classify or segment, or group and it is predictive. This type of research is a classification with the concept of data mining involving 150 customers of PDAM Tirta Lihou in Totap Majawa Kab. Simalungun can be categorized as: "Satisfied and Dissatisfied". The meaning of Data Mining is an interdisciplinary subfield of computer science and statistics with the overall objective of extracting information (with intelligent methods) from data sets and converting information into understandable structures for further use. There are 5 criteria that can affect customer satisfaction, among others: Service Facilities (x1), Price Rates (x2), Smooth Water (x3), Corporate Image (x4), and Location (x5). The results of processing the C4.5 method using the RapidMiner Studio 5.3 software mean that Rapid Miner is a solution for analyzing data mining, text mining, and predictive analysis. Rapid Miner uses various descriptive and predictive techniques in providing insight to users so that they can make the best decisions with the level of accuracy, namely, class recall and class precision values, it is explained that the "Satisfied" category produces a class recall of 97.80% and a class precision of 97.80%. 98.89% and the "Not Satisfied" category resulted in a class recall of 98.31% and a class of precision of 96.67%. STIE XYZ dalam mengelola transaksi penerimaan keuangan dan pengeluaran keuangan masih menggunakan Microsoft Excel yang dibagi berdasarkan tahun angkatan dan jenis pembayarannya. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah membangun aplikasi alternatif yang tersistem untuk mengelola transaksi penerimaan keuangan dan pengeluaran keuangan yang sesuai dengan pengelolaan keuangan di STIE XYZ. Metode pengembangan sistem Rapid Application Development (RAD) dipilih karena pada metode ini sebuah sistem dapat dikembangkan dalam waktu 180 hari dan para pemakai dilibatkan secara langsung pada saat pengembangan sistem sehingga sistem yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan user. Proses desain RAD menggunakan metode Unified Modelling Language (UML). Hasil uji Dimension of Quality for Goods (Operation, Reliability and Durability, Conformance, Service Ability, Appearance and Perceived, dan Quality) mempunyai skor > 75 yaitu 76,50 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk dinyatakan berhasil, hasil uji manfaat berdasarkan variabel Usability, Learnability, Eficiency dan Acceptability (ULEA) menghasilkan nilai > 70 yaitu 90,65% sehingga bisa dinyatakan bermanfaat.
