Objective To understand the experience of spirituality in the daily routine of a palliative care interdisciplinary team. Method A qualitative study was conducted with an oncological palliative care team in southern Brazil. The data was collected through phenomenological interviews in 2014, and interpreted using a hermeneutic phenomenological approach. Results Six professionals participated in the study. Spiritually-related activities, such as prayer and providing comprehensive care, were useful therapeutic resources for offering comfort, survival with dignity and humanization of death, in addition to helping the team and patients understand the end-of-life process and search for meaning in the suffering caused by illness. Conclusion Spirituality on the part of professionals with patients imparted meaning to their palliative care work and facilitated the formation of bonds between teams, patients, and family members.
Este estudo teve por objetivo conhecer as características empreendedoras do graduando em enfermagem. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa desenvolvida de setembro a outubro de 2011 em uma universidade pública do Nordeste brasileiro com 15 formandos; os preceitos éticos foram observados. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e tratados por análise temática, resultando em quatro categorias que delimitam as características empreendedoras: busca por oportunidades não exploradas, orientação para o futuro, necessidade de auto realização earticulação estratégica. As características empreendedoras exprimem o desejo de futuros enfermeiros em contribuir com o desenvolvimento social a partir de suas práticas, investindo em atitudes proativas e detectando oportunidades diferenciadas de cuidar, a partir de modos de agir que os permitam inovar ao vislumbrarem o exercício da profissão.
This paper refers to the importance of the childish stories as an instrument for the nursing action and the mental health promotion in childhood. The objective was to veriyj the recognition of the children's emotions, through stories specific to health. This is a descriptive-exploratory study of a qualitative nature, conducted in seven groups meetings with six children aged seven to ten years in an outpatient childish mental health. In the data collection the following were used as instruments: six fairy tales, the play of emotions, emotional faces, drawings, paintings and clay sculptures. Thematic analysis was used in which the following emerged, the recognition of emotions. The children recognized four basics emotions: sadness, joy, fear and anger. It was found in the study that the creation of contextualized stories and the strategy of storytelling group may be useful as a tool for research and qualification of nursing actions, to promote children's mental health.
Objetivamos conhecer as relações interpessoais da equipe de enfermagem, bem como identificar como essas seestabelecem no ambiente de trabalho em hospital de pequeno porte de cidade interiorana. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativodo tipo descritivo e exploratório, no qual se utilizou a observação simples como técnica para coleta dos dados. O mesmofoi realizado durante o mês de dezembro de 2007 num hospital do interior do Rio Grande do Sul, no qual participaram seistécnicos e um auxiliar de enfermagem. Após a coleta, realizamos a análise temática e obtivemos três temas: Relacionamentointerpessoal entre membros da equipe de enfermagem, Cuidado terapêutico no relacionamento interpessoal com pacientese familiares e Relacionamento interpessoal com equipe médica. Na realidade do hospital em questão as relações interpessoaistêm sua base na amizade, solidariedade e espírito de camaradagem que são uma constante, assim como na hegemoniamédica a qual ainda é fortemente observada.
