This research highlights the synthesis of novel organic molecule that is 5-methoxybenzimidazolthiomethanol (MBITM). This molecule is synthesized via the reaction of 5-Methoxy-2-mercaptobenzimidazole with formaldehyde in ethanol. This resulting molecule was characterized via Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), proton-nuclear magnetic resonance (1H-NMR) and elemental analysis (CHN). Furthermore, MBITM is used as a base compound for preparation of one novel nano material by mixing it with silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) that prepared by green method using Zizyphus spina christi L (Seder) leaf, via a simple chemical reaction. The resulting Ag anchored MBITM (Ag-MBITM) was characterized by FTIR, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) measurements. All these characterization measurements establish that a stable MBITM can be electrostatically retained on the surfaces of the Ag NPs. MBITM, Ag NPs and their nano derivative were screened for their antibacterial activity against both types of bacteria Gram-positive (S. aureus) and Gram-negative (E. Coli). In general, E-Coli and S. aureus were exposed to be significantly inhibited by all these three compounds but with different inhibition levels. Besides, the study of the biological activity was adopted for the purpose of conducting a comparative study between the raw materials (Ag NPs, MBITM) and the nanomaterial (Ag-MBITM) resulting from their reaction. The results showed that nanosilver-organic hybrid had effectively developed the antibacterial ability for both starting compounds. It has also been observed that this hybrid has been particularly effective with respect to the gram-positive bacteria.

This is a vital extension of our previously published work. Thermo-responsive copolymer coated superparamagnetic MnFe 2 O 4 nanoparticles are tested for cell viability and affinity on HeLa carcinoma cells under different conditions. Nanoparticles were loaded with anticancer drug doxorubicin. Composite nanoparticles of average diameter 45 nm were of core-shell structure having magnetic core of about 18 nm. Magnetic hyperthermia effects on cell viability and drug delivery were studied by exposing the cell suspension to high frequency magnetic field, and living cells were quantified using MTT method. There was almost absence of drug release at 37°C. Drug was released at temperatures above lower critical solution temperature (LCST) by magnetic heating. LCST of the thermo-responsive copolymer was observed to be around 39°C. Below this temperature, copolymer was hydrophilic and swelled. But above LCST, copolymer could become hydrophobic, expel water and drug and shrink in volume. Combination of hyperthermia and drug delivery effectively treated cancer cells.

The development in the use of polyaniline (PANI) in advanced studies makes us draw attention to the presented research and combine it into one study like this one. The unique composition of PANI qualifies it for use in electrochemical applications in addition to many other applications whose use depends on its mechanical properties. Based on this, it is necessary to limit the reactions that produce PANI and the cheapest cost, and then limit the current uses in the formation of nanocomposites with metals, their oxides, and/or carbon nanocomposites in order to determine what is missing from them and work on it again to expand its chemistry. The development in the use of PANI in advanced studies makes us draw attention to the research presented on PANI and combine it into one study. One of the very important things that made PANI possess a very huge research revolution are preparation in a variety of ways, easy and inexpensive, from which a daily product can be obtained with very high purity, as well as its distinctive properties that made it the focus of researchers in various scientific departments. The unique structure of PANI, which is easy to prepare in its pure form or with various chemical compounds including metals, metal oxides, and carbon nanomaterials (such as carbon nanotubes, graphene, graphene oxide, and reduced graphene oxide), qualifies it for use in electrochemical applications. The various studies reviewed showed that PANI gave good results in the applications of super capacitors. In some of the studies mentioned later, it gave a specific capacitance of 503 F/g, cycle stability 85% at 10,000 cycles, energy density 8.88 kW/kg, and power density 96 W h/kg. It was also noted that these values improved significantly when using PANI with its nanocomposites. Because of its good electrical conductivity and the possibility of preparing it with a high surface area with nanostructures in the form of nanowires, nanofibers, and nanotubes, PANI was used as a gas sensor. We have noticed, through the studies conducted in this field, that the properties of PANI as a basic material in gas sensors are greatly improved when it is prepared in the form of PANI nanocomposites, as explained in detail later. From this review, we tried with great effort to shed light on this attractive polymer in terms of its different preparation methods, its distinctive properties, its nanocomposites, and the type of polymerization used for each nanocomposites, as well as its applications in its pure form or with its nanocomposites in the supercapacitor and gas sensor applications.

Heterocyclic compounds have been used extensively used in pharmaceutical research area due to their effective biological activities. Thiazine, a heterocyclic compound with four carbon atoms, one nitrogen and one sulfur atoms which have promising pharmacological activities that have attracted the attention of scientists and researchers. In this research [3-(4-Amino-phenyl)-2-(4-nitro-phenyl)-2,3-dihydro-benzo[e][1,3]thiazin-4-one [comp. (2)] was used as a synthone for the preparation of Schiff bases [comp.(3)-(7)]. The synthesis compounds were characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR and spectrophotometric methods. Furthermore, silver nanoparticles was prepared by chemical reduction and characterized by X-Ray diffraction (XRD), infra-red spectrum (FTIR), atomic force microscope (AFM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The Ag NPs was used as a base nano metal for preparing Schiff bases-Ag NPs derivatives. The pure Ag NPs and Ag NPs functionalized Schiff bases nano compounds were used to check their effectiveness against four different types of bacterial (Staphylococcus aurous, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Escherichia coli and Klebsiella sp.) and one type of fungal (Candida albicans) by a serial dilution method.
