The Implementation of Interactive Multimedia in Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract: Mathematics is a difficult subject and even becomes a phobia, more due to teaching conventionally  in where the teaching and learning process emphasizes more on teacher, working on problems, memorization and speed of arithmetic, so students lack understanding of what they are learning, which in this case does not have an understanding of the concepts taught. Students tends to be lazy and have low motivation to study mathematics both classically and to study independently at home. The growth of information and … Show more

“…Based on Table 4, it was obtained that the percentage of students who completed was 76%, so it can be concluded that the learning media developed had high effectiveness criteria. This is in accordance with the effectiveness criteria of learning media according to Nieveen (2013), namely learning media is said to be effective if the results of using learning media meet the desired results. These results are also in line with Wulandari's research (2019) which states that the better the achievement of student learning outcomes after using learning media, the better the effectiveness of learning media.…”

“…Android-based interactive multimedia more complete display compared to other media. The use of interactive multimedia in mathematics learning has a great impact on students' understanding as students become better at achieving and understanding mathematics (Nurmawati et al 2020). 9% of students choose to use audiovisual media because it is faster and shorter in its delivery compared to multimedia that must be open one by one.…”
