-The objective of this work was to evaluate basal temperature, thermal sum at different phenological stages, phenological phase duration, yield and seasonality of one nectarine and 14 peach cultivars, between 2006 and 2009. The considered phenological phases were: pruning-sprouting; sprouting-flowering, from swollen bud to open flower; flowering-fruiting, from petal fall to medium-sized fruit; and ripening. Minimum basal temperatures (Tb) obtained were: pruning-sprouting, 8°C, irrespective of the cultivars; sproutingflowering, 10°C, except for 'Cascata 968', which required 8°C Tb; flowering-fruiting, 12°C, except for 'Oro Azteca', which required 14°C Tb; ripening, 14°C, except for 'Sunblaze', 'Diamante Mejorado' and 'Precocinho' with 12°C Tb. For most cultivars, the maximum basal temperatures were 30, 34, 34 and 28ºC for phases pruning-sprouting, sprouting-flowering, flowering-fruiting and ripening, respectively. 'Turmalina', 'Marli' and 'Tropic Beauty' showed average yields of 3,945.0, 3,969.3 and 3,954.0 kg ha -1 , respectively, in 2009, while the nectarine 'Sunblaze' showed around 3,900 kg ha -1 in 2008 and 2009. The cultivars differed for their total cycle and for the accumulated thermal sums which varied, respectively, from 245 days and 1,881.4 degree-days for 'Oro Azteca', to144 days and 1,455.7 degree-days for 'Precocinho'.Index terms: Prunus persica, degree day, thermal unit. Temperatura basal e soma térmica em fases fenológicas de cultivares de nectarineira e pessegueiroResumo -O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a temperatura basal, a soma térmica acumulada em diferentes fases fenológicas, a duração das fenofases, a produtividade e a sazonalidade do ciclo de uma cultivar de nectarina e de 14 cultivares de pêssego, entre 2006 e 2009. As fases fenológicas consideradas foram: podabrotação; brotação-florescimento, da gema inchada até a flor aberta; florescimento-frutificação, da queda das pétalas até o fruto médio; e maturação. As temperaturas basais mínimas obtidas foram: poda-brotação, 8°C, independentemente das cultivares avaliadas; brotação-florescimento, 10°C, com exceção de 'Cascata 968', que necessitou de Tb de 8°C; florescimento-frutificação, 12°C, exceto 'Oro Azteca', que necessitou de Tb de 14°C; maturação, 14°C, com exceção de 'Sunblaze', 'Diamante Mejorado' e 'Precocinho', com Tb de 12°C. Para a maioria das cultivares, as temperaturas basais máximas foram de 30, 34, 34 e 28ºC, nas fases poda-brotação, brotação-florescimento, florescimento-frutificação e maturação, respectivamente. 'Turmalina', 'Marli' e 'Tropic Beauty' apresentaram produtividade média de 3.945,0, 3.969,3 e 3.954,0 kg ha -1 , em 2009, respectivamente, enquanto a nectarineira 'Sunblaze' produziu em torno de 3.900 kg ha -1 em 2008 e 2009. Resumo A cultura do crambe surge como alternativa de produção, destacando sua precocidade e o potencial para a produção de óleo, em estação fria. A escassez de informações sobre parâmetros climáticos e fenológicos conduziu à determinação da temperatura basal inferior, da duração do ciclo e da constante térmica da cultura do crambe em Frederico Westphalen (RS). O trabalho foi composto por sete épocas de semeadura em 2009 e quatro em 2010. A temperatura basal inferior foi determinada pelos métodos do menor desvio-padrão e do desenvolvimento relativo. A temperatura basal para o subperíodo emergência-maturação (EME-MAT) foi de 9,5 ºC, enquanto para os subperíodos emergência-início da floração (EME-IFLO), emergência-fim da floração (EME-FFLO) e início da floração-fim da floração (IFLO-FFLO) foram, respectivamente, de 10,2 ºC, 10,8 ºC e 10,0 ºC, obtidas pelo método do menor desvio-padrão. O subperíodo compreendido entre EME-MAT variou de 74 a 136 dias, com duração média de 96 dias. Para os subperíodos EME-IFLO, EME-FFLO e IFLO-FFLO a duração média foi, respectivamente, de 52, 82 e 29 dias. Considerando-se os valores de temperatura basal para cada subperíodo, a duração média entre EME-MAT foi de 691 ºC dia, variando entre 576 ºC dia e 792ºC dia. Para os subperíodos EME-IFLO, EME-FFLO e IFLO-FFLO, a duração média do foi de 279 ºC dia; 444 ºC dia e 220 ºC dia, respectivamente. Palavras-chave:Crambe abyssinica Hochst., temperatura, fenologia. The scarcity of information about climatic and phenological parameters led to the determination of basal temperature, crop growth cycle duration and growing degree-days of Crambe. The research was composed of seven sowing dates in 2009 and four in 2010. Basal temperature was determined by the methods of least variability and relative development. The basal temperature for the subperiod emergence-maturation (EME-MAT) was 9.5 °C, whereas for the subperiods seedling emergency-early flowering stage (EME-IFLO), seedling emergency-end of flowering (EME-FFLO) and early flowering-end of flowering (IFLO-FFLO) were 10.2 ºC, 10.8 °C and 10.0 ºC, respectively. The subperiod between EME-MAT ranged from 74 to 136 days with an average duration of 96 days. For EME-FLO, EME-FFLO and IFLO-FFLO the average duration was 52, 82 and 29 days, respectively. RESUMO -O objetivo deste trabalho foi determinar a temperatura-base inferior (Tb) a partir da unidade fototérmica (UF) para o cultivo experimental de manga Alfa sob condições de cerrado. Foram utilizados dados diários da temperatura do ar disponibilizados pela Estação Agrometeorológica Padre Ricardo Remetter, localizada em Santo Antônio do Leverger-MT (15,8° S e 56,1° W, 140 m), e avaliação sensorial do estádio de maturação dos frutos de manga. A Tb foi determinada pelo método da menor variabilidade das unidades fototérmicas (UF) acumuladas do período da floração à colheita dos frutos, variabilidade avaliada pelo coeficiente de variação (cv) simulado para diferentes valores da Tb. De julho a novembro de 2007, em três plantas de um pomar demonstrativo irrigado, foram identificados 82 frutos para o acompanhamento do crescimento e maturação. Entre esses frutos, em meados de dezembro de 2007, foi possível identificar 13 frutos que atingiram a maturidade fisiológica, após um período médio de observação de 112 dias. Para exigência fototérmica de 1.878.166,1 UF, encontrou-se Tb de 10 °C, valor consistente com os apresentados na literatura para a cultivar de manga, o que comprova a eficiência do método que combina a ação da temperatura e do fotoperíodo sobre a maturação dos frutos e que confere um caráter mais racional que o método tradicional da soma térmica. PHOTOTHERMAL UNITS AND LOWER BASE TEMPERATURE FOR ALFA MANGO FRUIT IN THE BAIXADA CUIABANAABSTRACT-The aim of this study was to determine the lower base temperature (Tb) for Alfa mango fruit, using the photothermal units (PTU) method in the cerrado conditions. The meteorological data for the study were acquired from "Padre Ricardo Remetter" meteorological station located at Santo Antonio do Leverger, MT, Brazil (15,8° S and 56,1° W, 140 m), and the fruit data was acquired by sensorial evaluation of mango fruit maturation state. The Tb was determined by less variability of the coefficient of variation (cv) method applied to the PTU sum, from flowering to harvest, simulated for different values of Tb. In the period from July to November of 2007, in tree plants from an irrigated experimental field, 82 fruits were marked to observe the growth and the maturation. From the marked fruits, 13 fruits were identified at the harvest point, in December of 2007, after an average observation period of 112 days. For a photothermal requirement of 1,878,166.13 PTU it was observed a Tb for the fruits of 10 °C, this value is consistent with those reported in the literature, which proves the efficiency of the method that combines the action of the temperature and photoperiod on fruit maturity and providing a more rational method than the traditional heat units method.
