As a new sustainable alternative to linear economics, the circular economy (CE) is bound to be accompanied by the requirements of the existing production model, science and technology, as well as the public perception of CE. To expose the potential impact of higher education on CE transition, this study systematically reviewed the relevant literature on the drivers and barriers to CE with a mixed analytical method. CiteSpace was used to perform bibliometric analysis and visual presentation of 367 literature accurately retrieved by search formula from two international influential databases, Web of Science and Scopus, and two significant Chinese databases, CNKI and CQVIP. In the results, we identified the number of publications and citations, the annual distribution of publications, annual citation trends, county distribution of publication contribution, the most-cited articles, and the co-citation networks. Moreover, we clarified the main drivers and barriers to CE in China by conducting qualitative content of the keywords related to driver and barrier factors in the literature. The results suggest that higher education has a positive influence on strengthening the main drivers and eliminating the main barriers, which implies that higher education has bright prospects in speeding up the CE transition. To maximize the effect of higher education for CE, we suggested university leaders and lecturers should adopt effective education and instruction measures in improving the performance of education activities for CE, so that the future leaders of various industries in universities could construct CE values and behavior patterns to achieve the replacement of traditional linear economy.

Formation of Human Capital through Quality Education and Lifelong Learning: A Systematic Literature Review

A systematic literature review on the formation of human capital through quality education and lifelong learning is presented in this paper. This article explores the common themes that run through the 26 different papers that can be found in the databases of Sage Journal and Web of Science. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA) technique, which is a comprehensive guideline for both the systematic review and the gathering of data, was utilized in the execution and execution of the research project. Research studies that were published between 2017 and 2022 were considered for the review. The topics were organized under these three headings: quality education, aspects of life-long learning, and obstacles faced by LPH implementations. This article contains in-depth discussions on the aforementioned subjects, which are also covered in the accompanying literature review. An approach was presented that focuses on an early valuation of formation of human capital through quality education and lifelong learning in order to educate graduates with the appropriate information and skills. This was done rather than reiterating the literature research and recognizing the issue. According to the findings of this study, the quality of education, the elements that contribute to life-long learning, and the difficulties associated with the implementation of LPH are all affected by a variety of different circumstances. In addition, the significance of this study cannot be overstated because it contributes to the improvement of academics' comprehension of scholarly literature reviews conducted by their peers. As they continue their studies, it is helpful for them to get a deeper understanding of the building of human capital through the pursuit of quality education and learning that continues throughout one's life, in addition to other things.

“…Es de conocimiento de cada pp. 328-346 uno de los agentes educativos y de la población en general, que la calidad del sistema educativo ha sido una temática frecuente en las últimas décadas, siendo su propósito principal que los docentes impartan una educación de calidad, enfocada a alcanzar los aprendizajes de acorde a la realidad y necesidades que demanda el mundo globalizado (Abidin, 2021;Bianchetti, 2017); a pesar de los esfuerzos, muchas veces, no se logra alcanzar en su totalidad; por ello, cada vez mayor cantidad de estudiantes demandan en sus docentes el incremento de dicha calidad, convirtiéndose en uno de los requerimientos actuales (Ch et al, 2021). El estudio tuvo como objetivo explicar lo que se entiende por calidad educativa y las consideraciones filosóficas que se deben exponer en un contexto de realidad virtual por la pandemia de la COVID-19. El estudio se apoya en el paradigma histórico hermenéutico, de enfoque cualitativo, socio crítico; para ello, se realizó un rastreo minucioso de información documental. Entre los principales hallazgos, se tiene que, en la situación de pandemia el paradigma más aceptado es el constructivista, en el que la incorporación de las TIC juega un papel importante. Igualmente, en cuanto a las consideraciones filosóficas, quedan claras las dos aristas que componen el protagonismo que han tenido las TIC en la virtualidad, siendo según su ubicación geográfica, temporal y cultural: el ingenieril y humanístico. Finalmente, se concluye que la educación de calidad constituye la principal herramienta para combatir los diversos problemas sociales y lograr niveles óptimos de crecimiento y desarrollo, tanto social como económico; sin embargo, para entenderlo no puede dejarse de lado la filosofía involucrada en el mismo proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, en una realidad social o cultural.
