Quando a vulnerabilidade se faz potência

Abstract

Este texto discute o conceito de vulnerabilidade no qual se pautam várias das políticas públicas brasileiras. Presente em muitas de nossas pesquisas, os efeitos que o uso da noção de vulnerabilidade pode ter nas práticas profissionais realizadas nesse contexto público demarcam fronteiras investigativas que aqui propomos à reflexão. Sustentado em ideias da filosofia da diferença, examina o risco de que nossas atuações encubram práticas morais, relações de tutela e de assujeitamentos presentes no uso cotidiano e acrítico desta noção, que pode muitas vezes incapacitar os usuários com os quais trabalhamos. Retira-se de Nietzsche a perspectiva da vida compreendida como Vontade de Poder e explora-se o conceito de potência a partir da leitura deleuziana de Espinosa, para associá-lo à noção de frágil saúde como ampliação de perspectivas inventivas. Concluímos que o trabalho de cuidado pode explorar certa potência presente na vulnerabilidade, tanto no sentido de reforçar movimentos de ampliação de vida nas populações em que se realiza, como no sentido oposto.

Homeless people: health aspects and experiences with health services
