Mata kuliah perkembangan peserta didik merupakan matakuliah yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa calon guru di Prodi Pendidikan Seni Pertunjukan dengan kontribusinya dalam memberikan pemahaman kepada mahasiswa terkait karakteristik anak. Kegiatan belajarnya di tengah pandemi dilakukan secara daring sesuai dengan arahan yang berlaku. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan kegiatan belajar teori dengan sistem daring dirasa mulai membosankan, terlihat dari reaksi tingkah laku mahasiswa yang mulai tidak disiplin dalam mengikuti kelas, tidak mengaktifkan layar kamera, dan kurangnya partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini terjadi karena adanya penggunaan desain pembelajaran yang kurang tepat. Disini peran dari pengajar sangat penting dalam mewujudkan kegiatan belajar mengajar yang PAIKEM. Pengajar berperan sebagai motivator dan fasilitator dituntut aktif dan kreatif dalam mengajar termasuk dalam mempersiapkan desain pembelajaran yang akan diterapkan. Salah satu desain pembelajaran yang digunakan sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut oleh pengajar adalah desain TPACK yang memfokuskan pada pedagogi, konten dan juga teknologi. Dengan demikian penelitian ini dilakukan dengan maksud untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk implementasi yang dilakukan pengajar dalam pembelajaran dengan desain TPACK pada mata kuliah perkembangan peserta didik serta mendeskripsikan aktivitas pengajar dan mahasiswanya. Adapun hasil yang didapat adalah bahwa implementasi desain TPACK pada matakuliah perkembangan peserta didik memberikan dampak yang positif bagi proses pembelajaran dilihat dari hasil data observasi aktivitas dosen dan mahasiswa yang mengalami peningkatan pada setiap pengamatan yang dilakukan serta adanya peningkatan antusias mahasiswa dalam mengikuti perkuliahan.

Primary school students frequently encounter plane figures' perimeter and area. Using an onto-semiotic approach, this study examine students' learning challenges when learning the plane figures' perimeter and area. As part of the didactic design research, this study used an interpretive paradigm. The study included 25 fourth-grade students in one of elementary school in Sidoarjo, Indonesia. Data was gathered through tests, interviews, and documentation, as well as descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that students face three types of learning obstacles, i.e. ontogenic, epistemological, and didactic. Students have difficulty describing plane figures, understanding mathematical situations in problems, and using mathematical procedures to solve problems using the onto-semiotic approach. This study examines students' reactions to learning about the plane figures' perimeter and area. Furthermore, the findings of this study serve as a starting point for educators, practitioners, and researchers in developing new didactic designs. So that grade four primary students can overcome the obstacles discovered.

Introduction. Learning mathematics from home during the COVID-19 pandemic is a challenge for both parents and students to manage to engage in learning. Therefore, it is important to examine the involvement of parents in learning mathematics from home and students’ mathematics self-concepts and their relationship to mathematics performance.Aim. This study is aimed to analyse parental involvement and students’ mathematical self-concept, the relationship between the two, and their effect on students’ mathematical performance in online learning.Methodology and research methods. A cross-sectional survey was used to achieve the research objectives. There were 56 elementary school students in rural areas who were involved in this study. To assess parental involvement and mathematics self-concept, the authors employed questionnaires. Meanwhile, the results of the mid-semester test were used to assess student math performance. The answers to the research questions were reported using descriptive analysis, correlation, regression, and the t-test.Results. Based on the results of the analysis, parental involvement, both in terms of support and control aspects, has a significant influence on mathematics performance. On the other hand, mathematics self-concept and performance positively influence each other. The findings of the present research also show that the gender group and grade level group did not have significant differences for each variable.Practical significance. This study has implications for schools to maximise parental involvement in their children’s mathematics learning effectively. Communication between schools, teachers, and children, in particular, becomes critical to maximise children’s potential, including their math self-concept.
