Modeling melanopsin‐mediated effects of light on circadian phase, melatonin suppression, and subjective sleepiness

Abstract: A physiologically based model of arousal dynamics is improved to incorporate the effects of the light spectrum on circadian phase resetting, melatonin suppression, and subjective sleepiness.
