What is more foreign to us than our own unconscious, showing us a limit to what can be seen and said? The author shows that not only is the foreign inscribed in the gaze, a gaze that cannot be reduced to the visible, but that it lies at the very heart of the human subject. Its irruption at various occasions, including when travelling between different countries, confronts us with what divides us and remains an enigma. This challenging experience mobilises our subjectivity, calling for a unique solution. Far from always being a sign of pathology, it can lead to inventive action, as shown by artistic and rite-ofpassage experiences. The author's approach relies on what is transmitted to us by psychoanalysis, primarily highlighting the work of Freud.Resumo: O olhar e a prova do estrangeiro. O que poderia causar um sentimento de estranheza maior, ao ser humano, do que seu inconsciente que lhe mostra os limites de sua capacidade de ver e dizer? Esse artigo procura demonstrar que o estrangeiro não está apenas inscrito no olhar, um olhar que não se restringe ao visível, mas que se encontra no âmago do sujeito. Sua irrupção, a cada evento ocasional, inclusive ao mudar de país, confronta o sujeito com o que o divide e se torna um enigma para ele. Esse enigma representa uma verdadeira prova que mobiliza a subjetividade do indivíduo e a necessidade de um recurso singular para lidar com ele. Essa prova não revela necessariamente uma psicopatologia. Ela pode dar origem à inventividade, como mostram as experiências artísticas e iniciáticas. Para embasar a sua abordagem, a autora toma, como ponto de apoio e como horizonte, os conhecimentos da psicanálise, principalmente a contribuição freudiana.Palavras-chave: estrangeiro; olhar; inconsciente; despersonalização; inventividade; experiência iniciática.

Purpose This study aims to identify the suitable indicators and their scale for measuring the level of logistic halal implementation and then develops the measurement system based on those indicators and scales. Moreover, this research also applies the measurement system in food, beverage, and ingredient companies. Design/methodology/approach This study collected data through web-based closed questionnaires and short telephone interviews. This study succeeded in obtaining seven valid data sets from filling out validation and analytical hierarchy process questionnaires by a panel of experts. This study also obtained 97 valid data sets from filling out the questionnaire about the current condition of each indicator related to halal logistics (HL) implementation. Then, the framework for measuring HL implementation was designed based on the multi-attribute value theory approach. Findings The aggregate value of HL implementation in ingredient companies belongs to the excellent implementation category. In contrast, the aggregate value of HL implementation in food and beverage companies only belongs to the good implementation category. Then, according to the size of the company, the large-sized companies have the higher means of the aggregate value of HL implementation for preferred indicators than small- and medium-sized companies. However, all size companies belong to the good implementation category. Research limitations/implications This research has several limitations. The preferred indicators are only measured by the Likert scales. Future research may benefit from inducing the qualitative approaches to measure the condition of each indicator better. Secondly, this research only consisted of 97 food, beverages and ingredients companies. Thirdly, this research only measured the HL implementations to a particular sector or industry. Future research could benefit from replicating the work in similar and dissimilar contexts, adding the sample size and comparing the level of HL implementation between Muslim and non-Muslim companies, and moreover, enhance the measurement of HL implementation by including consumers and other actors involved, such as the government. Practical implications This research provided a basis for helping the government and policymakers understand and evaluate non-performing indicators in HL implementation before formulating several actions. Social implications Understanding the current HL implementation conditions could facilitate a more effective response in designing some appropriate alternative actions. Originality/value This research contributed to measuring HL implementation with a new indicator, a new scale and a new object in an empirical case of food, beverages and ingredient companies in Indonesia.

Le présent article propose une élaboration métapsychologique de la construction du lien individuel et de l’inscription sociale à partir d’un travail de supervision d’une équipe d’intervention psychosociale auprès d’immigrants de l’Europe de l’Est en situation de précarité à Paris. L’écart temporel et spatial dans ce travail paraît nécessaire face au poids de l’actuel de la rue, ainsi que l’importance de ce qui est fait in presentia et qui met l’un et l’autre, le sujet en situation de précarité et l’intervenant, en situation de régression du fait de ce décalage produit par la rencontre dans la langue. Le travail de figurabilité de l’intraduisible de ces mots partagés est proposé à l’intérieur du dispositif, comme une instance capable de renouer perception et langage, sortant ainsi le sujet de la sidération traumatique dans un récit devenu possible à partir de la figuration de la rencontre par cet autre qui réactualise la possibilité d’un lien fiable.
