Putting transformative learning in higher education based on linking capital

This study aimed to analyze learning at the level of higher education. The practice of higher education, of course, also requires a transformation of learning. It is intended to achieve the competencies needed in the 21st century.The study used a qualitative approach. Observations were made on online learning practices at Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarmasin, Indonesia from March to May 2021. In-depth interviews employed with 17 students who live in Banjarmasin. Miles and Huberman's data analysis technique reduces interview data. The study results described that learning at the higher education level has differences in the achievement of the graduate profile. There are two main patterns, namely, institution-centered learning and student-centered learning. The student's need for network strengthening requires the systemic transformation of learning. One learning transformation that can be carried out is strengthening learning practices outside the classroom with partners (stakeholders). The primary purpose of partner involvement is a condition designed so that students can increase network capital. This linking capital is expected to be an opportunity for students to increase student succession when they graduate from higher education.

Abstrak: Menempatkan Pendidikan Global melalui Transcript based Lesson Analysis di Pendidikan Tinggi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan praktik pendidikan global yang berfokus pada pencapaian perspektif global dalam Pendekatan Transdisipliner dan Lintas Disiplin dalam Pembelajaran IPS. Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif sebagai pendekatan penelitian. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 26 September hingga 10 Oktober 2021. Model interaktif Miles dan Huberman mereduksi data wawancara, menyajikan hasil penelitian secara deskriptif naratif, dan menyimpulkan hasil penelitian. Temuan: menggambarkan perbedaan percakapan yang terjadi pada siklus satu dan siklus dua, yang dipahami dosen karena mahasiswa enggan untuk berbicara. Keengganan menyampaikan pendapat disebabkan keterbatasan penguasaan materi dan takut menafsirkan. Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan siklus satu, dosen memberikan brainstorming dengan menyampaikan pentingnya mengemukakan pendapat dalam pembelajaran. Kesimpulan: Dosen memiliki peran utama untuk memberikan brainstorming dengan menyampaikan pentingnya mengemukakan pendapat. Selain itu, pokok bahasan pendekatan transdisipliner dan interdisipliner dalam pembelajaran IPS mengedepankan prinsip-prinsip budaya ilmiah di bidang akademik.Kata kunci: pendidikan global, transcript-based lesson analysis (TBLA), percakapan.

This article describes how creative learning is by integrating contextual social studies learning resources. This matter is based on social studies learning must be able to accommodate students' critical and creative thinking. As a research instrument, the researcher conducted structured interviews and non-participatory observations. Data analysis using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman reduces interview and documentation data; presentation of data through descriptive narratives; documentation; and concluding. The study results describe the activities of floating net cage fish farming in Banua Anyar Village in RT 03, RT 04, and RT 05. In terms of floating net cage fish farming activities, there are two main activities: production and consumption. The floating net cage fish farming activity in Banua Anyar Village indicates the suitability of the Human, Place, and Environment learning material for class VII semester I. This material is presented in social studies subjects which cover the discussion of the natural conditions of Indonesia (the physical condition of the region), which includes the discussion of actions, motives, and economic principles. The relationship between floating net cage fish farming activities as social studies learning resources provides room for confirmation of contextual examples from students' closest lives. Therefore, the formulation of creative learning can be designed based on floating net cage fish farming activities as social studies learning resource.
