The purpose of the study was to analyze the educational background, the suitability of teacher competence or linearity, and map the professional competence of productive teachers in the Vocational School of Arts and Culture. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research stages are; collect information related to teacher educational background, education and training data, and interviews. The research subjects were school principals, administrative heads, and teachers. Evaluation uses the discrepancy model.. The research population is principals and productive teachers of Vocational School of Arts and Culture. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validation uses source triangulation and collection. Data analysis used descriptive techniques and simple mathematical analysis. The results showed that: (1) the educational background of productive teachers; dance, musical arts, theater arts, and puppetry arts 96.67% in accordance with the legal basis set by the Ministry of Education and Culture, (2) the suitability of the competence or linearity of productive teachers according to learning materials in SMK, and (3) a map of professional competence for productive teachers; dance, musical arts, theater arts, and puppetry are 30% of teachers in the mastering category and 70% in the very mastered category. Based on passport skills, it is recommended that 8 (26.67%) teachers attend secondary level training, 9 (30%) teachers attend advanced training, and 13 (43.33%) teachers attend advanced level training. The results of the study are recommended for consideration by the relevant agencies in making policies, recruiting, improving the quality of teachers, determining teaching tasks, teaching burdens, and developing teacher coaching models.

The research aims to develop statistics textbooks and measure their effectiveness in improving the statistical reasoning abilities of students in building engineering education. This study is based on the results of learning statistics courses that are still low. In general, studying statistical material requires the ability to reason in solving problems in the context of everyday life. To help understanding concepts, statistics textbooks need to be developed with SPSS software-assisted analysis that can be used in learning. This research was conducted on students majoring in PTB FT Unimed. This type of research is research and development. This research procedure was modified from the 4-D learning device development model which consisted of 4 stages namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data analysis was performed covering the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the textbooks that were developed. The results showed that: 1) expert validation on the feasibility of statistics textbooks obtained very good categories with details of material experts with an average score of 79.29, media experts with an average score of 85.33 and linguists with an average score 77.78, 2) lecturers' responses about the practicality of statistics textbooks were obtained in a very practical category with an average score of 85.37 and 3) the use of statistics textbooks was quite effective in increasing student reasoning with at count of 11.44 and significance 0.00. Based on the data analysis and effectiveness test, it can be concluded that the developed statistical textbook can improve students' reasoning abilities.

Pada abad 21, kemampuan numerasi sangat penting untuk dikuasai semua kalangan masyarakat. Kemampuan numerasi masyarakat tidak lepas dari kemampuan numerasi guru sebagai tenaga pendidik. Pengetahuan numerasi guru perlu diketahui, sebagai upaya memaksimalkan peran guru dalam pembelajaran numerasi. Alat ukur yang dapat digunakan adalah instrumen tes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen Tes Numerasi Guru (TUGU). Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, rating scale, dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini adalah instrumen TUGU untuk mengukur kemampuan numerasi guru SD. Instrumen TUGU dinyatakan layak sebagai instrumen tes karena sudah melalui pengujian konten dan uji empiris. Hasil uji validitas isi menunjukkan indeks Aiken melebihi 0,8, termasuk kategori tinggi. Respon guru menunjukkan skor 4,58, termasuk kategori sangat baik. Uji validitas menunjukkan rata-rata 0,536, termasuk kategori valid. Uji reliabilitas menunjukkan koefisien 0,70, sehingga instrumen dinyatakan reliabel. Uji daya beda menunjukkan skor rata-rata 0,438, yang termasuk kategori sangat baik. Uji tingkat kesukaran menunjukkan skor rata-rata 0,596, termasuk kategori sedang.
