One of the keys to the success of learning is good management. During the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers need managerial skills for the learning process to take place. The purpose of this study is to determine the management of learning arts and culture to improve student achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study employed the qualitative approach to research. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the learning management that teachers need to do in Art and Culture is due to the characteristics, creation, communication, motivation, learning strategies, and discipline. The recommendations of this research can be used by teachers in developing culture and art learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Hence, teachers will be able to provide learning to students, and students can attain improved skills and good learning outcomes.
The industrial era 4.0 requires that every individual must have superior competence and wise morals. Life skill education is an effective strategy to face the XXI century competition. However, there has been no development in line with the demands, resulting in much unemployment in Indonesia. Character education is encouraged to maintain and strengthen the culture and character of the nation. However, in reality, character education has not yet integrated into all school-based development programs. This research explores the development of character education based on life skill education at Pondok Pesantren Modern Muhammadiyah Boarding School (PPM MBS) Yogyakarta. This qualitative research uses an ethnographic approach. Researchers' data is through the interview, observation, and documentation techniques—data analysis process with data reduction stages, data presentation, and conclusion. Triangulation sources and techniques used as a test of data validity. This study's findings show the strengthening of character education through life skills education orienting on self-development and boarding schools' cultural development. This study's findings recommend various life skill education programs that can develop and character education strategies in formal schools.
The implementation of learning is the most important part in improving the quality of education. The Covid-19 pandemic period is part of the challenge for education so that learning continues. The purpose of this study was to investigate in depth the implementation of distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Pakel Elementary School. The data sources in this study were teachers, parents, and students. Data collection techniques using structured interviews assisted with guidelines that are structured questions systematically. Data analysis using the Denzin Licoln case study model assisted by atlas.ti software version 8. The technique used to improve the quality of research is source triangulation. The results of this study provide information that in the implementation of the implementation of distance learning there are three factors, namely policy, distance learning process, and human resource activeness. These three factors are novelty which can be recommendations for the three education centers in order to be part of improving the quality of distance learning education during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The distance learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in many symptoms experienced by both teachers and students. This becomes the basis for research. The purpose of this study was to explore information related to the practices of teachers in the distance learning process to improve student achievement during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The research was conducted in Yogyakarta. Participants in this study were teachers and students. The data collection technique in this study used structured interviews and participatory observation. Research procedures using the Creswell case study model. Data analysis was performed using Atlas.ti software version 8.3. The results of this study provide information that teachers need to improve skills and competencies through self-innovation. The teacher as a center of learning has a direct influence and contribution to student development while studying at home. Students will be able to understand the material well, can always be enthusiastic about learning, and finally, be able to improve achievement even though learning is done remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This study aims to determine (1) the quality of learning materials for automotive productive teacher theory; (2) Preparation and planning of automotive productive teacher learning; (3) Synchronization of theoretical learning with productive teacher practice learning (4) Supervision and follow-up after the evaluation of productive teacher learning. This type of research is an evaluation with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan. The respondents were students of automotive engineering expertise programs, all automotive productive teachers, and school principals. The evaluation model used is the Goal Oriented Evaluation Model, which is an evaluation which is oriented towards the objectives of the automotive productive teacher learning management program. Data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation. The validity of the instrument through the help of a competent panel. The results showed: (1) The quality of automotive productive teacher learning materials in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan was effective. (2) Preparation and planning of learning of automotive productive teachers in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan effectively. (3) Synchronization of theoretical learning with learning practices of automotive productive teachers in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan effectively. (4) Supervision and follow-up after the evaluation of the learning of automotive productive teachers of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan is effective.
This research aimedto determine the effect of the: (1) financial resilience on the home learning model; (2) parenting self-efficacy on the home learning model; (3) home learning model on education innovation; (4) financial resilience on education innovation; and (5) parenting self-efficacy on education innovation on parents. This research uses a quantitative method. Respondents consisted of 250 parents whose children were currently attending kindergarten and elementary school education. Determination of the sample using random sampling. The data collection method used a questionnaire with a Likert scale and via a google form. The data analysis technique used path analysis.The results of the research data analysis show that there is a path in each variable as evidenced by (1) The effect of financial resilience on the home learning model is 0.38; (2) The effect of parenting self-efficacy on the home learning model is 0.42; (3) The effect of home learning model on education innovation is 10.37; (4) The effect of financial resilience on education innovation is 0.30; and (5) The effect of parenting self-efficacy on education innovation is 0.31. The suggestionsgiven by parents and the people of Yogyakarta are: (1) Improving financial arrangements for parents; (2) Increase the spirit of involvement for parents on learning of children at home; (3) Emphasizing the importance of learning models and education innovation for parents so that they can pay attention to children's success; (4) Continue to make efforts to improve the abilities and skills of parents so that they can play an important role for parents in children's education.
Industrial development has an impact on competency requirements that must be aligned with the provision of competencies in vocational school. Vocational school graduates who are able to work in accordance with their field of expertise are one of the keys to the success of vocational education. The purpose of writing this article is to determine the vocational alignment based on the schema. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques using interviews. The research was conducted during a workshop organized by the Directorate of Vocational Education. The research subjects were Indonesian vocational school teachers. The research procedure used the Denzin & Lincoln model. Data analysis was carried out with the assistance of the Atlas.ti software version 8.3. The results of this study provide information that there are three important things that need to be done by vocational school and Industry to be able to carry out and develop competencies, namely process, strategic management, and duties and responsibilities. The three things that are the findings, of course, have their respective indicators which can be done specifically by vocational school and Industry. The results of this research can be used as a collective reflection for vocational school and industry in increasing competence and developing the ability to create quality graduates for vocational school and to find competent workforce candidates for Industry.
