Intravenous laser irradiation of blood in the complex treatment for acute and progressive tuberculosis in adolescents

Abstract: Twenty4hree out of forty-four adolescents affected by acute and progressive tuberculosis were administered a complex treatment based on the intravenous laser irradiation of blood. This treatment started 2 to 4 weeks after the beginning of chemotherapy. The efficiency of the treatment was assessed by clinical and laboratory criteria obtained after 1.5 to 2 months.
