This research was conducted based on observations of the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) As-Salam Samarinda which is a school with good social and religious character cultivation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the process of strengthening character education at SDIT As-Salam Samarinda. This method of research used descriptive qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach to reveal more deeply the phenomenon of individual change processes in changing the character of students at SDIT As-Salam. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data source for this research is primary data obtained from interviews with the principal, class teachers, subject teachers and students at SDIT As-Salam Samarinda. The research data validity technique used the criteria for the degree of trust (credibility) with the triangulation technique. The results of the study can be concluded that the system for forming patterns of character education for SDIT As-Salam students is carried out by to grow character education values through the components of the learning system. Habits carried out by schools and teachers can motivate students and change the character of students in the long future. The application of religious activities and teacher discipline in every step of learning activities is visible and can be applied continuously. Furthermore, there is the role of the teacher as executor of program development activities when the learning process takes place both inside and outside the classroom so that students' character education values are reflected in everyday life. The implication of this research was to provide a reference regarding the learning process and the role of teachers in schools in order to instill good character values, especially social and religious values in students. The purpose of this study is to ascertain: how school culture-based character education is implemented; and what elements facilitate or hinder this process at SMA Negeri 1 Parung. This study combines a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. This study employs a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. Purposive sampling is a sampling technique. School principals, curricular vice principals, three teachers, and five students served as data sources or informants. In this study, data was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study's conclusions state that SMAN 1 Parung's implementation of school culture-based character education was successful because the school instilled values such as religious, discipline, literacy, love of the country, environmental care, honesty, and selfconfidence. These ideas are established in schools through habit or positive behavior both within and outside of the classroom. Human resources, in this case the school, including all teachers, teaching staff, school employees, there are still students who are not aware of the importance of character education, factors of family environment, and community environmental factors, including friendship environment.

Di era global dan perkembangan teknologi seperti saat ini, masih banyak peserta didik yang belum dapat menumbuhkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam dirinya seperti mengumpulkan tugas tidak tepat waktu, mengerjakan tugas asal-asalan, dan tugas dikerjakan oleh orang tua. Hal ini dikarenakan siswa tidak mau tahu dengan tugasnya dan hanya bermain gadged saja. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk menganalisis peran budaya sekolah terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa kelas V SD. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas V Sekolah Dasar dengan subjek penelitian 1 orang kepala sekolah, 1 orang guru kelas V, 5 orang siswa, dan 5 orang tua siswa. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang pertama menunjukkan bahwa peran budaya sekolah terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa memiliki peranan tinggi yang harus diperhatikan dalam pembentukan karakter. Hasil penelitian yang kedua, siswa memiliki perhatian orang tua yang kurang aktif dalam membimbing. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa, orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam pembentukan karakter. Oleh karena itu, perlu kerja sama yang baik antara orang tua dan guru agar dapat mendidik siswa ke arah yang lebih baik. Karakter yang diberikan guru sudah membentuk kepribadian karakter siswa. Keterlibatan guru dan orang tua dalam mendidik anak dapat mendorong anak untuk selalu berfikir positif dan berprilaku yang baik dengan cepat. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak terhadap peran budaya sekolah terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa.
