Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada hasil pengamatan pada proses pembelajaran yang menemukan bahwa masih rendahnya kreativitas mahasiswa dalam merancang media pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kreativitas mahasiswa menggunakan model project based learning dalam pembuatan media ipa berbentuk pop up book. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang mana data yang didapat berupa persentase untuk kemudian dideskripsikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kreativitas mahasiswa yang ditinjau dari aktivitas dan produk yang dihasilkan. Dari segi aktivitas pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata untuk keseluruhan aspek kreativitas adalah 70% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 83%, sedangkan dari segi produk pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 72% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 82%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam pembuatan media IPA berbentuk pop up book dengan menggunakan model project based learning.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi sekolah dalam membentuk karakter siswa kelas V di SDN 012 Kecamatan Pasir Penyu Kabupaten Indagiri Hulu melalui pembentukan karakter religious, disiplin dan peduli lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan langkah melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa perencanaan strategi sekolah dalam membentuk karakter siswa kelas V dilihat dari perencanaan nya sudah baik, mulai dari kegaiatan di dalam maupun diluar kelas, sarana dan prasarana yang cukup memadai untuk mendukung terlaksana nya strategi sekolah dalam membentuk karakter siswa melalui pembentukan karakter religius, disiplin dan peduli lingkungan
The purpose of the study was to examine the effectiveness of multiliteracy learning towards elementary students' critical thingking skills in ecosystem material. Preliminary observations and discussion with the tracher were done to find out whether multiliteracy learning had already been implemented or not before. The learning design that was applied by the teacher was multiliteracy learning. Further, observation, interviews, and observation sheets were used to obtain the data related to teacher's and students' activity during the implementiom of multiliteracy learning. Then, test was employed to measure the level of students' critical thinking skills. After analyzing the data obtained, it can be concluded that there was a significant effect of multiliteracy learning towards elementry students' critical thingking skills. It coyld be proven from the average of score of experimental class was 17 whereas control class was 14.71. Students and teacher positively responded the implementation of multiliteracy learning. In other words, it can help in improving students' critical thinking skils and facilitate the learning process.
Reward and punishment are very important in motivating students because through reward and punishment students will become more confident and responsible with the tasks given. Reward and punishment are two contradictory words, however, the two things are interrelated. The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of reward and punishment on the learning motivation of fourth-grade elementary school students. This type of research is quantitative. This study uses a random sampling technique, the research subjects are all fourth-grade students for the 2021/2022 academic year with a total student population of 92 students. The results of data processing shows that the independent variables (reward (X1) and punishment (X2)) simultaneously have a significant effect on the dependent variable of learning motivation (Y) this is indicated by the calculated F value of 44.722 which is greater than F table 2.69, meaning this causes Hi to be accepted.
Education is one of the most important factors in human life. With education, a person can improve intelligence and skills and develop their potential in humans. The principal's role is very influential in improving the quality of education. Principals must be able to foster and direct teachers to work together and professionally to improve the quality of students To improve the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the role of school principals in improving education quality management at the elementary school level. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects were one principal and two fourth and fifth-grade teachers. Then, the data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Analyzing the data is done by collecting information through interviews, data reduction, and data presentation. The study results found that the principal has carried out the role of the principal following his role as Manager, Leader, Supervisor, Administrator, Educator, Innovator, and Motivator. The principal has also made efforts to improve the quality of students and is trying to realize the school's vision and mission, realizing active, effective, and efficient learning, as well as producing good learning characteristics and students' moral values.
