Scientific thought has thus focused on different aspects of this problem, exploring the requirements of gender-balanced rural development, gender-sensitive policies, changes in women's work and family roles, and their capacity for self-organization and entrepreneurship (Babović, 2014;Babović, 2012;Blagojević, 2006;Blagojević, 2010;Blagojević Hjuson 2012;Markov, 1995;Čikić, Petrović and Petrović, 2011;Čikić, 2015;Zlatkov Cvetković, 2015;).
