This study aimed to develop an environmental care instrument for students based on local potential and test its effectiveness on different genders and grades. This research is development research of three stages, i.e., literature analysis and preparation of instrument items, the validity of instrument content, and constructs validity using EFA and CFA. The instrument consists of 25 positive and negative statement items using 5 rating scales. The environmental care attitude instrument development results have met the criteria of construct validity through EFA and CFA. The EFA validation yielded 23 items (1 item eliminated from the 1st EFA and another from the 2nd EFA). The results of the final validation using CFA showed that all items met the fit criteria and formed three factors. The analysis results of the instrument effectiveness show that the instrument has been able to reveal students' environmental care attitudes which is differentiated by gender and grade. The results of the analysis showed that female students have a better environmental care attitude than male students and students of class XI have a better environmental care attitude than students of class X. Overall, the instrument has met content and construct validity and is effectively used to reveal students' environmental care attitudes.

One source of learning in universities is a digital library. In the era of industry 4.0, most universities have implemented digital libraries in supporting the learning process. However, the reality shows that digital library management is still ineffective. Therefore, the implementation of digital libraries needs to be evaluated for determining the digital library effectiveness used as learning resources in supporting the learning process in universities. Many evaluation tools are used to evaluate the effectiveness of digital libraries but have not provided accurate recommendation results to support decision-making. This research presents an innovation in the form of an evaluation tool that can be used to evaluate the digital library effectiveness in universities. That evaluation tool is called the Alkin-WP-based digital library evaluation software. This software is a desktop platform that contains aspects of measuring the digital library effectiveness by referring to the components of the Alkin evaluation model and the WP (Weighted Product) method. This research aimed to show the effectiveness level of the utilization of Alkin-WP-based digital library evaluation software. This research method was R & D (Research & Development) which refers to the ten development stages of the Borg and Gall model. In this research, development was focused only on a few stages, included: usage trials, final product revision, dissemination, and implementation. The subjects involved in assessing the implementation/utilization of the Alkin-WP-based digital library evaluation software were 35 people, in the usage trials were six people, in product revision were three people, and at the stage of dissemination were 15 people. The tools used to collect data were questionnaires and interview guidelines. The data analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative. The effectiveness level of utilizing the Alkin-WP-based digital library evaluation software was 88.34%. It showed that the evaluation software had effective. The impact of this research results on the scientific field of educational evaluation is being able to show the existence of a new evaluation tool based on educational evaluation and artificial intelligence. Kanak-kanak tadika yang diberikan pendedahan awal dalam pembelajaran Sains dapat memberi ruang kepada mereka untuk menerokai alam sekeliling secara lebih saintifik. Malahan, pendedahan melibatkan tajuk yang abstrak seperti elektrik dapat memberi peluang kepada mereka untuk memperoleh pengetahuan yang pelbagai dalam bidang Sains. Oleh itu, kajian ini dijalankan untuk menerokai faktor-faktor yang boleh mempengaruhi kanak-kanak tadika dalam memahami tentang konsep elektrik. Reka bentuk kajian yang dilaksanakan adalah secara kajian kes dengan melibatkan kajian kualitatif. Seramai dua orang kanak-kanak berbeza jantina yang bersekolah di salah sebuah tadika swasta di Negeri Sembilan menjadi peserta dalam kajian ini. Instrumen kajian ini telah melibatkan ujian diagnostik dalam bentuk three-tier test, temu bual serta analisis dokumen dalam menerokai faktor yang mempengaruhi kefahaman kanak-kanak terhadap konsep elektrik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa miskonsepsi turut berlaku dalam kalangan kanak-kanak tadika dan terdapat pelbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi kefahaman mereka dalam memahami konsep elektrik. Antara faktor yang mempengaruhi kefahaman kanak-kanak tadika berkaitan konsep elektrik adalah faktor murid, guru, ibu bapa serta faktor luar seperti televisyen, rakan, buku dan juga internet. Menerusi faktor tersebut, didapati bahawa kanak-kanak lelaki mempunyai kefahaman yang lebih mendalam dalam konsep elektrik berbanding kanak-kanak perempuan. Tambahan itu, faktor luar yang melibatkan televisyen dilihat memberi pengaruh yang besar kepada kefahaman kanak-kanak tadika dalam memahami konsep elektrik. Justeru, faktor yang terlibat boleh membantu guru dalam mencari jalan penyelesaian untuk mengelakkan berlakunya miskonsepsi dalam kalangan kanak-kanak dan memberi penjelasan secara saintifik kepada mereka. Hal ini supaya kanak-kanak tidak membawa miskonsepsi ke peringkat yang seterusnya.
