Branding and Isomorphism: The Case of Higher Education

Abstract: Since the New Public Management movement began, public and nonprofit organizations have been adopting and adapting businesslike practices, including branding and marketing. “…The higher education sector is useful to our interests because there are large, robust longitudinal federal datasets in higher education as well as normed ways to measure both efficiency and impact of funding on performance.
