<p class="Abstrak">Pendidikan kejuruan adalah salah satu sarana yang pengembangan ketrampilan siswa agar siap kerja. Perubahan dunia saat ini yang juga tengah memasuki era revolusi industri 4.0 semakin memberikan tantangan bagi individu untuk mampu menunjukkan eksistensinya pada era ini. Konseling karier yang terintegritas dengan pendidikan memegang kontribusi penting dalam membantu individu dalam hal ini. Adanya konseling karir dinilai menjadikan individu lebih matang dalam merencanakan karier dan meminimalisir stress kerja.Tulisan ini bertujuan memaparkan tantangan serta peluang karier pada pendidikan kejuruan di era industri 4.0. Kajian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan (library research), sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menelaah dan/atau mengekplorasi beberapa jurnal, buku, hasil penelitian, dan dokumen-dokumen (baik yang berbentuk cetak maupun elektronik) serta sumber-sumber data dan atau informasi lainnya yang dianggap relevan dengan kajian.</p>

Many advanced product manufacturing approaches have been introduced in the market in recent years. Thus, it is critical to develop modern techniques which can effectively familiarize budding minds with the latest manufacturing procedures. In fact, the contemporary training methods and advanced education practices are crucial to uphold the interest of the new generation as well as to equip them with state-of the art systems. There is a need for innovative ideas and effective methodologies to inculcate the desired competency and prepare students for prospective manufacturing set ups. In the latest Industry 4.0 paradigm, visualization technologies, especially virtual reality, have been emphasized to sustainably train and educate young students. This work presents a technique for utilizing the leading visualization method based on virtual reality in product manufacturing. It aims to acquaint students with the prominent concept of Industry 4.0, the reconfigurable manufacturing system (RMS). The RMS has been a demanding topic for the novice and, most often, amateurs are not able to grasp and interpret it. Therefore, this paper outlines the various steps that can be useful for students in order to anticipate the RMS design, interact with it, understand its operation, and evaluate its performance.

The development of education is strongly influenced by global factors. This global development has a serious impact on the quality of education graduates. Many standards emerge to meet these demands. This responsibility rests with the university, especially the university which produces graduate teacher candidates. Universitas Negeri Padang is one of the Indonesian universities in charge of this. Researches are conducted in order to produce learning innovations, one of which is our research. We have researched classes to improve the teaching abilities of prospective teachers in the Biology Department, Universitas Negeri Padang. We use a modified Jigsaw learning model. This research uses quantitative observation methods for students who take Biology Instructional Methodology course using Teacher Performance Appraisal Instrument 2. Our results were tabulated on average. We collected the initial value before giving treatment. The final score is 84.69by good criteria. The results of this study indicate that the Jigsaw learning model that we modified can improve teaching abilities for prospective teacher students in the Biology Department, Universitas Negeri Padang. This research contributes to increase knowledge and continue to improve the quality of learning in the future.
