This paper aims at systematizing the specific literature on body, gender, sexuality and education, identifying the methodological process that produced the different explanation patterns found. Methodologically, introducing the meta-analysis as a research technique in Human Sciences, we intended to contribute to the construction of a literature review in a systematic way in order to guarantee the increase in accumulation and the reliability of the production of scientific knowledge. It was found that, regardless of the type of research used (Case Studies, Small N Studies, Large N Studies) and effect found (Nsig, Sig and Mixed Results), one feature is common among the analyzed studies regarding body, gender, sexuality and teacher training: the fact that all (with varying degrees of intensity) suggest that the thematic approach contributes to the destabilization of norms, ratings and rankings in the field of education.

Resumo Este estudo objetivou analisar o desempenho neuropsicomotor de crianças a partir da realização do Teste de Triagem de Desenvolvimento de Denver II (TTDD-II). Foram avaliadas 318 crianças, com idade entre 36 a 48 meses. Os resultados indicaram que as meninas obtiveram melhor desempenho em três das quatro áreas pesquisadas: Pessoal Social (p < 0,001), Motor Fino (p = 0,020) e Linguagem (p = 0,028). Na área Motor Amplo não foi observada diferença significativa entre os gêneros. Ao se analisar o desempenho das crianças na execução das tarefas previstas no teste, constatou-se diferença significativa nos seguintes itens: na área Pessoal Social, o item mais falho foi “escova os dentes sem ajuda”; na área Motor fino, o item “indica a linha mais longa” apresentou mais falhas; na área da Linguagem, os itens mais falhos foram “conhece 2 adjetivos”, “conhece 4 ações” e “compreende 4 preposições”; na área Motor Amplo foi o item mais falho “pula num pé só”. A análise dos resultados aponta que padrões socialmente impostos, baseados em diferenças de gênero, podem interferir nos comportamentos neuropsicomotores de crianças. Além disso, conhecer tal perfil de desenvolvimento é de fundamental importância na formulação de políticas públicas e de ações capazes de contribuir para o desenvolvimento infantil.

ResumoEste é um estudo descritivo e exploratório que buscou compreender as implicações de gênero nas práticas de saúde e autocuidado de adolescentes e identifi car a opinião deles acerca das ações oferecidas nas Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBS). Participaram 347 adolescentes matriculados nos anos fi nais do Ensino Fundamental e Ensino Médio de duas escolas públicas de Belo Horizonte, os quais responderam a um questionário semiestruturado e autoadministrado. Os resultados revelam infl uências do processo de socialização e construção social das identidades masculinas e femininas nas práticas de autocuidado entre o grupo de adolescentes. Os meninos relataram maior frequência de atividades físicas e uma menor utilização dos serviços e ações voltados para a promoção da saúde e prevenção de agravos, utilizando, com maior frequência, os serviços de urgência e emergência. As defi ciências estruturais e organizacionais das UBS e o acolhimento das equipes de saúde foram apontados como pontos negativos que difi cultam a vinculação do público adolescente. Palavras-chave: adolescência, gênero, saúde pública Abstract This is a descriptive and exploratory study which aimed to understand the genders implications in the health practices and self-care of adolescents and to identify your opinions about the actions offered in Basic Health Units (BHU). It has participated 347 adolescents that were in senior years of their public primary and high school in the Belo Horizonte city, which answered a semi-structured and self-administered questionnaire. The results show the infl uences of the socialization process and social construction of masculine and feminine identities in self-care practices among the group of teenagers. The boys had reported higher frequency of physical activity and less use of services and actions aimed at health promotion and disease prevention, using more often, the urgent and emergency services. The UBS´structural and organizational and the reception of health agents were identifi ed as weaknesses points which provide a bad approach to the adolescents. Participaron 347 adolescentes que cursan los años fi nales de educación primaria y secundaria de dos escuelas públicas de Belo Horizonte, los cuales contestaron a un cuestionario semi-estructurado y autoadministrado. Los resultados revelan las infl uencias del proceso de socialización y construcción social de las identidades masculinas y femeninas en las prácticas de autocuidado entre el grupo de adolescentes.
