Abstract: Um dos grandes problemas das revistas científicas brasileiras é a falta de visibilidade e acessibilidade nacional e internacional. São pouquíssimas as revistas nacionais indexadas no ISI (Institute for Scientific Information), no Medline e no Web of Science, os três mais importantes bancos de dados internacionais na área de publicações científicas.
