Distribuição de obesidade geral e abdominal em adultos de uma cidade no Sul do Brasil

Abstract: The objective of this study was to determine the prevalence and trends in general and abdominal obesity in adults 20 years or older in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil, using a cross-sectional population-based design, in 2010. General obesity was defined as body mass index (BMI) > 30 kg/m² and abdominal obesity as waist circumference (WC) > 88 cm for women and > 102 cm for men.
