This article aims to identify situations of violence experienced by rural women from a community in the state of Bahia. This is a clipping of a descriptive research, whose data were produced from April to June / 2019. Twenty women who answered a form with questions about sociodemographic characterization and the problem of violence were investigated. In the analysis the simple frequency was used to group the types of violence, allowing discussion with data from the literature. The interviewees were black / black, aged between 18 and 40 years old, with low level of education and financial income, maintaining financial dependence on their partner and / or third parties. All suffered some kind of violence, especially physical aggression, sexual abuse, psychological, child, domestic and institutional violence. The data point to a scenario in which women are exposed and vulnerable situations and the most diverse types of violence.
