Results. In mortality from CVD structure from CVD the leading causes are ischemic heart disease (IHD) and cerebrovascular diseases (CeVD). During the period of study there was found a growth of general and primary morbidity by admittance for CVD. In the structure of general morbidity by admittance for CVD during last 10 years IHD is the leading, in the structure of general morbidity by admittance -CeVD. For the period studied, there was decrease of mortality from CVD by 22,7%, incl. 6,3% for IHD, and 1,7 times for CeVD. Conclusion. Regardless positive tendencies of last years, Chelyabinskaya region continues to be the region with high level of mortality from CVD. The revealed patterns of dynamics and structure of morbidity and mortality from CVD dictate the necessity of elaboration of the interventions for improvement of medical care for the patients with cardiovascular diseases at the level of regions.
The review is devoted to the topical issues of non-pharmacological treatment of metabolic syndrome, namely, fight against hypodynamia (the mechanism of sanogenetic action of Scandinavian walking) and insulin resistance (the effect of drinking mineral water on normalization of insulin secretion). Non-medicamentous measures aimed at reducing body weight, changing dietary stereotypes, quiting bad habits such as smoking and alcohol abuse, increasing physical activity. These changes contribute to the formation of healthy lifestyle, they are highly effective, increase oxygenation of tissues, improve functional state of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems and have a pathogenetically directed effect on all links of metabolic syndrome: abdominal obesity, dyslipidemia, violation of carbohydrate metabolism, hyperinsulinemia, insulin resistance, sympaticotonia, arterial hypertension.
The aim of the study was to assess the effectiveness of the integrated spa therapy of the metabolic syndrome (MS) with the use of drinking mineral waters (MB) of different chemical composition and mineralization, taking into account the dynamics of hormonal parameters, carbohydrate, lipid metabolism, liver function. Eighty patients with MS received a standard clinical and laboratory examination at the beginning and at the end of the course of treatment. By random sampling, two groups of 40 people were formed, each of whom received an internal intake of MB Essentuki-Novaya or Essentuki No. 4. It was established that the complex spa treatment of patients with MS and the pathology of carbohydrate metabolism in the form of impaired fasting glucose and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease with drinking MB is pathogenetically directed and includes the main means of actively affecting the well-being of patients, body weight, metabolic processes, hormonal regulatory systems and liver function, the course of concomitant diseases. The results of the study allowed us to recommend MB Essentuki-Novaya for the specified category of people as a curative and preventive agent in order to prevent further progression of carbohydrate metabolism and pathological changes in the liver.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
