The article presents the role and place of experience in a person´s life, shows the essence of his personality as a form of interaction with the environment. On the basis of defining the role of leisure and entertainment such areas of modern economic theory as «culture economy» and «experience economy» are highlighted. Dance is shown as a kind of leisure activity and as a commercial product. The authors give a list of open dance floors of Moscow and their locations on the map of the city.
The authors develop and substantiate the methods of assessing Russian science journals citation in six domains as specified by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and, based on Web of Science Core Collection data, make recommendations for promoting Russian journals to the international databases. The authors analyze the methods of citing science journals indexed by the international systems and conclude that there was a need for additional indicators of citation assessment with consideration to the national origins of publications. They suggest the methodological approach based on calculating citation coefficient which is a modified version of impact factor. The key distinctions of the method are the following: the number of citing documents are applied instead of the quotation number; only one document type, i.e. academic papers, is used for calculations; citation widows are varied depending on specificity of six OECD science domains. To distribute articles among the domains the authors developed the OECD – Web of Science Core Collection compliance tables.
In Part 2, the authors are testing the methods of assessing Russian science journals citation in the natural, agricultural sciences and the humanities based on Web of Science Core Collection. The methodological approach is based on calculating citation coefficient which is a modified version of impact factor, calculated as the ratio of the number of citing documents to the number of scientific articles in Russian journals. The method is tested on the scientific articles published in Russian journals of 2012–2018 and indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection. As a result, recommendations are developed on how to promote Russian journals to the international databases based on Web of Science Core Collection taking into account the specifics of OECD domains under the examination. The general recommendations are: to decrease the share of mono-national publications thus increasing the share of articles written in the international collaboration; and to increase the share of articles by foreign authors. The study is accomplished through the funding within the State Order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian federation “Organizational, technological, research and methodological support of promoting national journals to the international science citation bases and information analytical support of the national subscription to international science information resources for scientific and educational organizations”.
The study task is to develop and substantiate the methodological approach toward assessing publication activities of Russian researchers in the RF regions based on Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus. The fundamental distinction of the proposed method from the existing ones is that it enables to eliminate over-estimation and under-estimation of publication activity figures. Besides, it enables to analyze all the regions at once rather than individual districts or territories. The study sustains inconsistency of the sci-tech landscape in different federal okrugs (regions) and, for several of them, lacking the correlation between the research results and available resources in the regions. The study findings would enable the government authorities to make administrative decisions at the federal and municipal levels. The study was accomplished out of the funds of the State Order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation “Organizational, technological, research and methodological support and promotion of national journals to the international science citation databases; information and analytical support of the publicly funded subscription to international information resources in science for research and educational organizations”.
In the current difficult situation in foreign policy there is a gradual change in Russia in the structure of the tourist flows; analysts have noted an increase in demand for domestic tourism. The author considers the prospects for further development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation, taking into account the fact that in today´s world, the migration of values and the economy acquire a new direction. Recognition of individual impressions of economic proposals is a pledge for economic growth in the future. Jeremy Rifkin believes that the demand for labor in the service sector will fall, as in the past, thanks to the automation and higher productivity, but it will not lead to a general unemployment. There will be new proposals; there will be a new wave of economic activity that will provide unprecedented opportunities for career growth and welfare. Those companies who are aware of the transition are taking place to a new kind of economy and effectively react to it. It will be easy to resist forced down prices and create a qualitatively new consumer value. The author gives examples of the activity of Russian cities and regions in the tourism sector, which are increasingly taking on the traits of the new economy of experiences. Tourism products cease to be a massive and standardized at the forefront personalization. Travel companies are developing new routes with the new fashion trends. More actively developed are new types of tourism: ecological, extreme, event, gastronomic, etc. Modern consumers are acutely aware of their aesthetic and cognitive needs, demands from enterprises in the tourism and hospitality innovative offers, seeking new experiences. Consequently, they become important new economic factor that deserves attention in the tourism industry. Marketers engaged in promoting goods and services, develop new tools in the industry of experience marketing, acting not only on the mind of the consumer, but on their feelings, trying to hurt "for a living." That is why the travel agencies that implement tours, rely on memories and pleasant emotions and souvenirs reinforce the brightest and most pleasant moments of the trip. The author has set the task to identify the Russian trends in the transition to an economy of experiences and organize the domestic experience of regional marketing in the new format.
