BMT is a financial institution which is sought after by small entrepreneurs for financing their business operations. This institution provides finance to help small entrepreneurs who cannot access finance from the larger banking sector. In addition, the existence of BMTs is a blessing for the lower income group in society, keeping them away from illegal money lenders who burden them with much higher interest rates. Since its appearance in 1992, the BMT has been receiving positive responses from all sections of society in Indonesia. Many people take advantage of these opportunities which are available through the setting up of a BMT institution; however, many of them failed and ended up bankrupt. It is because they faced many problems in their operations. Therefore, this research selected BMT in Pekanbaru as a case study in order to analyze the problems faced by BMT whether these problems due to internal or external factors. In this regard, the study employs the method of Analytic Network Process (ANP). The data used are primary data obtained from interviews (depth interview) with academicians, practitioners, and regulators, who have an understanding of the subject matter covered. This paper concluded that the internal problems of lacking quality of Human resource become a major problem to be resolved through training and education. While externally, the major problem that must be immediately to resolve is the absence of specific regulation governing BMT.
ABSTRAKSumber daya manusia memegang peranan penting dan faktor yang paling dominan dalam organisasi. Kinerja karyawan dapat diukur dengan berbagai indikator, salah satunya adalah kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data primer dan sekunder dalam menggambarkan pengaruh pengembangan carrier dan organisasi budaya terhadap kinerja guru melalui kepuasan kerja. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh guru di Sekolah Nasional Kebun Sireh Pulau Pinang sebanyak 46 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengembangan karir melalui kepuasan kerja secara tidak langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Selain itu, budaya organisasi melalui kepuasan kerja secara tidak langsung juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh Wisma Syariah Graha Az-Zahra Pekanbaru mengalami permasalahan terhadap jumlah tamu yang mengalami penurunan. Hal ini diduga terjadi karena belum optimalnya perusahaan dalam mempromosikan produk-produknya kepada masyarakat/pelanggan/tamu. Adapun yang menjadi perumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh bauran promosi terhadap peningkatan jumlah tamu pada Wisma Syariah Graha Az-Zahra Pekanbaru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bauran promosi terhadap peningkatan jumlah tamu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tamu yang menggunakan jasa penginapan. Sementara objek dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh bauran promosi terhadap peningkatan jumlah tamu. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengambilan sampel digunakan dengan cara simple random sampling, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket atau kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Untuk menganalisis data digunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Dalam menganalisis data kuantitatif digunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dimana proses perhitungannya menggunakan SPSS for windows versi 17.0. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bauran promosi terhadap peningkatan jumlah tamu memiliki hubungan yang kuat, ini diketahui dari nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 78,1%. Sedangkan hasil uji parsial terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara bauran promosi terhadap peningkatan jumlah tamu, ini diketahui dari t hitung sebesar 12,176. Kemudian terdapat besarnya kontribusi antara bauran promosi terhadap peningkatan jumlah tamu, diketahui dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 60,9%. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa bauran promosi terhadap peningkatan jumlah tamu pada Wisma Syariah Graha Az-Zahra Pekanbaru sangat berpengaruh.
Performance appraisal is a work achieved by a person in carrying out the tasks assigned to him based on skill, experience and sincerity as well as time. In this study the authors wanted to know the job performance evaluation system at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (PERSERO) Tbk Syari'ah Pekanbaru Branch Office by focusing on 5 (five) research variables, and in this study can be seen as follows: (1) Achievement of Achievement, based on the results of processed and data analysis of respondents' answers obtained 71, 61%. (2) Building Trust, based on the results of the processed and data analysis of respondents' answers obtained 70.31%. (3) Focus on Customers, based on the results of processed and data analysis of respondents' answers obtained 69.27%. (4) Orientation on Quality, based on the results of the processed and data analysis of respondents' answers obtained 75.78%. (5) Cooperation, based on the results of the processed and data analysis of respondents' answers obtained 68.35%. And in this study it can be seen that the performance appraisal system at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (PERSERO) Tbk Syari'ah Pekanbaru Branch Office has almost reached the effective level or can be said to be "quite effective" because it is in the range of 56-76%. This can be seen from the final results of data processing of several indicators of the existing variables of only 71.06%. From the results of the questionnaire that has been analyzed. The lack of competency possessed by BMT employees in Pekanbaru City both related to the competence of sharia science and from business development competencies, lack of employee ability to manage or organize Islamic financial service cooperatives and the low level of job satisfaction possessed by BMT employees . This research method is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative analysis using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) model with PLS program. The population in this study were all BMT employees in the city of Pekanbaru. The number of samples in this study were 79 respondents. The results of this study indicate there is a direct influence between competencies on Job Satisfaction of BMT employees in Pekanbaru, there is a direct effect between satisfaction on the performance of BMT employees in Pekanbaru, there is no indirect effect between competencies on performance through job satisfaction of BMT employees in Pekanbaru. Through the results of this study it is expected that all BMTs in Pekanbaru to pay attention and be more focused on aspects of employee job satisfaction because the level of employee job satisfaction is very significant influence on the performance of BMT employees in Pekanbaru.
