Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana manajemen boarding school di SMA Terpadu Wira Bhakti Gorontalo, bagaimana peningkatan disiplin taruna berbasis semi militer di SMA Terpadu Wira Bhakti Gorontalo, bagaimana faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam peningkatan disiplin taruna di SMA Terpadu Wira Bhakti Gorontalo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menerangkan bahwa (1) manajemen boarding school di SMA Terpadu Wira Bhakti Gorontalo terbagi kedalam empat tahapan yaitu: Perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan/ evaluasi. (2) Kedisiplinan siswa di SMA Terpadu Wira Bhakti Gorontalo sudah cukup baik namun masih tetap perlu diadakan upaya peningkatan karena berbagai pelanggaran tata tertib siswa masih ada walaupun hanya merupakan pelanggaran kecil. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa di SMA Terpadu Wira Bhakti Gorontalo adalah upaya yang bersifat preventif dan kuratif. (3) Faktor pendukung dalam peningkatan disiplin yaitu dengan adanya ketegasan dan keteladanan sikap guru dalam menjalankan tata tertib sekolah dan peran serta guru BK sangat membantu siswa untuk mengembangkan pola perilaku yang baik dalam dirinya. sedangkan faktor penghambat dalam peningkatan disiplin yaitu adaptasi dari para siswa dalam menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungan sekolah berasrama, sehingga terus menerus diadakan pembinaan terhadap para siswa.
this research aims to know the influence of the using of learning multimedia and motivation to the result of students' Arabic learning in the class. The research method used in this research was an experiment research by using treatment with levels designs 2x2, data were collected through the test and motivation questionnaire. The data analysis in this research used variance analysis test (ANAVA) in two directions (2x2) by using F test on the significance level α=0,05 and an advance test by using Scheffe test. The result of the research showed that the students who learned by using learning multimedia had higher average scores than compared with the students who didn't use learning multimedia. Study motivation of students who learned by using learning multimedia had average scores which were higher than the students who didn't use learning multimedia in their learning process in the class. There were influences of interaction between the using of learning multimedia and motivation to study to the learning result of students' Arabic learning. At the group of students who had high learning motivation, the result of students' Arabic learning which used learning multimedia was higher than the result of students' Arabic learning which didn't use learning multimedia.
This study analyzed access to primary education of transmigration community in remote areas. It was related to the availability of primary education facilities and infrastructure, besides the efforts of parents in encouraging their children to pursue an education. It was also related to the perception of the young generation towards the importance of education and the primary education level achievements for the transmigration community, as well as the existing primary education problems and its solutions. Researchers collected data through observation, interviews, focused group discussions, and literature studies. The results showed that the education facilities in the transmigration community were sufficient. Parents made several attempts to encourage their children to go to school. Parents gave advice, showed examples of success, provided all the children's school needs, freed children for working in the garden, followed the child's school information, and gave gifts. The researchers found that the perception of the young generation of the importance of education was quite positive. The achievement of primary education in the transmigration community was quite adequate. Nevertheless, its implementation in the transmigration community still faced several problems, namely the limited availability of teachers, inadequate road transportation access, limited library access, and insufficient lighting. The problem solving that exists the involvement of various stakeholders, both local governments, schools, and the community.
This research aimed to describe the implementation of peer assessment in learning the basic skills of teaching conducted to the Arabic Education Department students of IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo especially in Micro Teaching course. The study was conducted in a qualitative approach. The data collection technique was the participant observation in which the researcher participated in it. The data were analyzed by using qualitative data analysis process by Milles and Huberman, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study: a) Micro Teaching course in the Arabic Education Department was held in two forms; (1) class seminar to learn the concepts and theories of teaching skills, and (2) teaching practicums to apply them. There were 6 skills learned: the skills of opening and closing the lessons, the skills of explaining the material, the skills to teaching variations, the skills of asking questions, the skills of giving reinforcement, and the skills of managing the classes, b) peer assessment was carried out by peer assessment sheet instruments that were filled in when the teaching practicum occurred. The results were then conveyed to all students and responded by supporting lecturers at each end of the practice as a reflection, and c) skills that had been well practiced by the students called opening and closing the lessons, explaining, asking questions, and managing classes. While the skills in teaching variations and provide reinforcement were not well-practiced. Peer assessment should be applied in student learning process at all levels of education.
