This study describes the needs of electronic student worksheets (e-LKM) that practice 21st century skills: critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication (4C). This qualitative descriptive study involved 16 lecturers from 7 universities in Indonesia. The research instrument is a questionnaire that two education experts have validated. The questionnaire was distributed openly through the lecturers and students' WhatsApp groups. The data was collected in the form of questionnaires supported by data from 25 student worksheets collected from lecturers who filled out the questionnaires and were spread on the internet. Questionnaire data is processed using the percentage technique while LKM data is analyzed based on LKM standards, electronic or conventional based, whether or not it supports specific learning models and the emergence of 4C skills. The results showed that many student worksheets did not follow the standard, were not electronic-based, did not support specific learning models, and did not train 4C skills. This research indicates the need to develop electronic student worksheets that practice 4C skills in pandemic situations and teach digital literacy and 21st-century skills.
4C skills have become part of the current elementary school curriculum, which is expected to improve the quality of education so that graduates are ready to compete in the global world. Student worksheet, based on the RADEC model, is needed as a learning tool that can help participants practice 4C skills. This study aims to develop and validate the Student Worksheet based on the RADEC model on the theme of aerial skills-oriented 21st century: critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication (4C). This research and development (R&D) use the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). This research was carried out until the development stage or validation stage. The validity of the student worksheet is determined by an assessment of media, materials, and language on a scale of four, validated by twenty-five teachers who have attended the RADEC model workshop for three days. The data obtained were tabulated by calculating the validity of the quantitative and descriptive analysis. The development results show that the student worksheet based on the RADEC model to train 4C skills is declared valid with the calculation results Vh>Vt or Vh> 0.64 and is suitable for use in learning. This research can be used as information on the development and validation of teaching materials, especially student worksheet, based on the RADEC model to train 4C skills in science materials in elementary schools.
The nature of science is essential to be conveyed in the curriculum and student books because it becomes a reference in the learning process to adequately achieve learning objectives. This study aims to describe aspects of the nature of science in the "merdeka" curriculum and its comparison between countries and an analysis of the nature of science in elementary science books. The quantitative descriptive method is carried out by studying literature and analyzing documents on aspects of the nature of science in the "merdeka" curriculum documents and elementary science books. Curricula documents from other countries are analyzed to find out the comparison. Based on the analysis and comparison results, it is shown that the nature of science in the elementary school curriculum and its embodiment in student books is not explained explicitly, both in the curriculum and in student books. The percentage of science essence values in the student curriculum is > 80.00%, namely product, subjective, and creative aspects, and in student books, only product aspects have a percentage value of > 80.00%. It is known that the percentage of the emergence of the nature of science is different in each country.
This research aims to development a REACT-based e-worksheet that is feasible to use to stimulate the critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication (4C) skills and determine student response. The challenges of a dynamic era require students to have a 4C skills set critical thinking and problem-solving skills; creativity and innovation; communication; and collaboration. One of the tools that can be used in online learning to achieve this goal is to use the electronic Student Worksheet (E-Worksheet) which includes the student's 4C skill values with REACT strategies: Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and Transferring. The research chooses one of the topics in chemistry, which is introduction to chemistry and laboratories. This REACT-based e-worksheet was developed using the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages those are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In addition, the study used a sample of 10 students of mathematic and natural science 12th grade MAN 4 Tangerang. Based on the results of validation and student response questionnaires, REACT-based e-worksheet to stimulate students' 4C skills was declared valid and obtained an average percentage of 91.8% with very good criteria.
