When developing veterinary or feed preparations, a mandatory procedure is the study of their toxicological properties in living bio-objects. The purpose of this research work was to study the toxicological effect of probiotic on the basis of autochthonous microflora of birds by identifying the parameters of acute, subacute and chronic toxicity, as well as irritating characteristics in experimental laboratory animals. In studies of subacute and chronic toxicity, the pharmacodynamics of a probiotic was studied by its effect on individual metabolic parameters, morphobiochemical composition of blood, and also the growth rate of experimental laboratory animals. A complex of toxicological studies of the developed biological product showed that the probiotic does not exhibit toxic and irritating properties, stimulates hematopoiesis, erythropoiesis, there is a slight increase in the mass of laboratory animals in connection with which it can be used for its intended purpose, regardless of the dose.
This article presents the results of a study of the effect of a feed additive "Albit-BIO", on the body quail meat productivity. This feed additive made from autolysate of the biomass of Cephaliophora Tropica fungus, saturated with selenium, iodine, iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, manganese, copper, cobalt, and boron. As a result of the studies, found that the addition in the diet of quail feed additive helps increase poultry safety by 3.5 %, live growth by 6.6 % while reducing feed consumption for growth by 1.5 %. Revealed that the use of autolysate from the fungus in the diet of birds helps increase protein, mineral, and fat metabolism, and increases the quail's immune status. The feed additive had a positive effect on the digestibility of the feed components, stimulated the growth of beneficial microflora, and inhibition of growing the opportunistic microorganisms. The use of additives helps improve the chemical composition of the bird's muscles by reducing the fat content and increasing protein, as well as increasing the dietary properties of meat products and its biological value. In general, the use of the feed additive Albit-BIO as part of the quail diet increases the meat productivity of poultry and improves the quality of the obtained quail products.
The purpose of the research work was to select the optimal conditions for the cultivation of microorganisms. As a result of the conducted research work, the modes of growing a nitrogen-fixing culture and a microorganism with high enzymatic activity were selected and worked out. At the same time, the optimal conditions for the cultivation of Azotobacter sp were determined – the temperature optimum for cell accumulation was 30°C, for increased polysaccharide production 20 °C, aeration within 5-10 l/l/min, agitator speed-150 rpm, pH value within 6.0±0.2 units, which allowed to achieve a cell titer of at least 1.0×109 CFU/ml. A cost-effective nutrient medium was selected for growing Pseudomonas sp. molasses-autolysate medium and optimal conditions for growing the culture: cultivation temperature 30-32 °C, aeration 1.0-1.5 l/l/ min, agitator speed 150-200 rpm, pH 6.8-7.2 units, sub-titration 5.0 % KOH, defoaming with adecanol, cultivation time-72 hours, which allowed to achieve a cell titer of at least 1.0×109 CFU/ml.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
