This study discusses one method of phonetic correction for pronunciation learning improvement called Verbo-tonal method. Nowadays, this method of phonetic correction is the most widespread method. However, this method is not quite popular in Indonesia. The main objective of this study is to analyze fundamental problems that occur in the learning process and capture the causes of the problems. The study is conducted by descriptive literature review method. Therefore, this study aims to collect as much information as possible on the Verbo-tonal method. The findings show that the Verbo-tonal method has a good impact on pronunciation learning. Furthermore, this study is expected to provide insights for researchers, practitioners, and future researchers to strengthen knowledge in the field.
The use of technology media in the field of education is increasingly popular. Along with the needs of learning media that do not depend on space and time, the use of artificial intelligence is expected to be a support for language learning as well. This study discusses the use of artificial intelligence based on Chatbot and named ChatJours which is used as a media to support learning in French through telegram media. This research used a quantitative method and data were collected using a questionnaire containing questions about the usability system (SUS). In this study the aim is to see how useful this Chatbot technology media is as a pedagogical support. The results of the study, which were assessed using a Likert scale, showed that from the questionnaire filled in by the respondents, the overall score was 76%, which indicates that the Chatbot media is suitable to be used as a supporting medium for learning French grammar.
RÉSUMÉ. L’activité de traduction n’est pas une tâche facile, surtout pour les apprenants en langues étrangères. Par conséquent, les erreurs survenues dans le processus de traduction ne peuvent être évitées, notamment les erreurs grammaticales. Cette recherche vise à décrire les erreurs grammaticales commmises dans la traduction d’articles de presse en indonésien traduits en français par des étudiants; et de trouver les erreurs les plus fréquentes. Cette recherche met en oeuvre une méthode de recherche descriptive qualitative. Les données utilisées dans cette recherche ont été extraites de 87 textes d'articles de presse en indonésien traduits en français, effectués par des étudiants du département de français du septième semestre dans une université à Bandung, en Indonésie. Les résultats de cette étude devraient enrichir les connaissances dans le domaine de l'analyse des erreurs grammaticales sur les résultats de la traduction. Hence, errors occurred in the translation process cannot be avoided, one of which is errors that occur in grammatical aspects. This research was conducted to describe errors in the grammatical aspects found in the translation of Indonesian language press articles that had been translated into French by students; and to propound the frequency of errors that were most often done. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The data used in this research were taken from 87 translated-texts from Indonesian language press articles into French conducted by seventh semester students of French Department in one university in Bandung, Indonesia. The results of this research are expected to enrich the knowledge in the field of grammatical error analysis on the results of the translation. This research aims to describe lexicography in a French-Indonesian bilingual business dictionary that has been created and is available on dictionnaire-desaffaires.online. This research applies a descriptive qualitative method. The data collecting technique used in this research are questionnaire and lexicographic stages. The questionnaire is filled by Departement of French Language’s students of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia who learn French Business course (Français des Affaires). It aims to find out their needs for business dictionary. The result shows that they need a business dictionary in French-Indonesian and they prioritize content and information structure. Moreover, the researcher will describe lexicography in this dictionary, namely the stages of its preparation and the content of the dictionary, which is macrostructure and microstructure. The macrostructure is arranged alphabetically, while the microstructure consists of definition and grammatical information. The grammatical information contained in this dictionary is four major word classes: nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. It can be concluded that the needs of students for business-specific dictionary can be fulfilled by compiling a dictionary using lexicography.

Phonological difficulties are influenced by first language interference, while articulatory difficulties are caused by students not using their articulatory tracts properly and optimally.
