Este estudio retoma el debate sobre la pedagogía postmoderna con una doble finalidad: Por un lado, para contribuir a un orden conceptual más claro y coherente sobre lo pedagógico en relación a la Postmodernidad. Por otro, para, sobre este orden teórico, despejar el camino de lo que podrían ser o están siendo teorías y prácticas educativas constituyentes de una pedagogía, de suyo, postmoderna. La investigación se ha llevado a cabo a través de la hermenéutica de textos filosóficos y pedagógicos. En primer lugar, se presenta el binomio moderno/postmoderno en su nivel epistemológico y se clarifica su relación con el relativismo. Segundamente, se discute y defiende la posibilidad y la existencia de una pedagogía de signo postmoderno, teniendo especialmente en cuenta su vertiente normativa. En tercer lugar, se exponen los argumentos que, desde un punto de vista hermenéutico y pragmatista, el relativismo y sus matices ofrecen como línea pedagógica. Se ensaya en esta parte una integración del postfundacionalismo y otros postulados postmodernos en el pensamiento educativo, y se apuntan algunas líneas a desarrollar en el futuro. Finalmente, se concluye con una síntesis de los resultados y sus implicaciones para la pedagogía y la teoría de la educación.
¿Cuál es la potencia de la Historia Conceptual para la historiografía educativa? El neologismo “pedagogía” fue acuñado en tiempos de secularización y aceleración, característicos de la Modernidad (1750-1850), para referirse a un saber mesiánico-salvífico que había de contribuir a la precipitación del fin de la historia y la llegada de la edad del espíritu (Geist) que sustituía al Juicio Final. Así, la Historia de la Pedagogía se perfiló como una Historia de las Ideas al abrigo del idealismo (Hegel) y del historicismo (Dilthey). Después, el auge de la Historia Social produjo una pérdida de la importancia de lo inmaterial en la nueva disciplina que se llamaría Historia de la Educación. Ahora, la Begriffsgeschichte (Koselleck) puede ayudar a hacer patente la relevancia del contexto intelectual (Skinner) en la historia de los fenómenos educativos. Alejándose de idealismo y materialismo, una disciplina podría encargarse de reconstruir las condiciones de posibilidad discursivas de las ideas y las prácticas educativas del pasado: la Historia del Pensamiento Pedagógico.

La historia conceptual en la historiografía de la educación: Hacia una historia del pensamiento pedagógico The conceptual history in the educational historiography: Toward a history of educational thought L'histoire conceptuelle dans l'historiographie éducative: Vers une histoire de la pensée éducative
Resumen. El artículo que presentamos pretende recuperar algunas ideas pedagógicas olvidadas y abandonadas por la corriente general de la pedagogía actual. Se trata de ideas destiladas del arte y de la historia, modelos «inúti-les» que se alejan de las «útiles» ideas positivistas, materialistas y comerciales que están marcando el devenir de la pedagogía. En un primer momento, exponemos sucintamente el movimiento fundado por Germano Celant en 1967 y llamado «arte povera», observando que existen innumerables elaboraciones del pensamiento ligadas a sus obras que resultan pertinentes para la pedagogía. De la comparación entre el «arte povera» y la pedagogía, vemos surgir la «pedagogía póvera», una propuesta que recicla ideas que están cayendo en el olvido a pesar de su enorme interés.
