The low development of early reading ability in early childhood can be caused by many factors, one of which is due to lack of stimulation from the family environment. The role of the family environment becomes very important, because both quantity and quality of the presence of children are spent more in the family. The family-based environmental print model is an innovation that can be used in stimulating early reading skills in children in the family. To be able to obtain optimal results in the use of this model, parents must understand the characteristics of early childhood learning. A correct parent's understanding of the characteristics of children's learning can make the stimulation process take place pleasantly, according to the child's learning style without any element of coercion from parents to children. In addition, the active role of parents can also be done with the right portion of the sign of showing an uncaring attitude or just letting go of the extraction of children's interest in media and conditions that have been prepared using the environmental print model. PENDAHULUANSetiap anak memiliki banyak potensi kecerdasan yang dapat berkembang secara optimal jika adanya dukungan dari lingkungan. Namun sebaliknya tanpa adanya dukungan dari lingkungan, berbagai potensi yang dimiliki anak tersebut sulit untuk berkembang dengan baik dan bahkan potensi tersebut bisa hilang. Oleh sebab itulah Vygotsky (dalam Sujiono, 2009) menyarankan adanya scaffolding dalam kegiatan pengembangan potensi anak. Berdasarkan kajian berbagai pakar baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri dikatakan, minimal ada tiga lingkungan yang selalu berperan dalam hal berkembang atau tidaknya potensi yang dimiliki setiap anak, yaitu keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat. Jika ketiga lingkungan tersebut mampu saling berkoordinasi dan berperan secara optimal maka perkembangan potensi setiap anak dapat dieksplor dengan baik, namun kondisi sebaliknya akan terjadi jika ketiga lingkungan tersebut tidak saling terkoordinasi.Dari ketiga lingkungan tersebut, lingkungan keluarga merupakan lingkungan pertama dan utama bagi setiap anak yang terlahir ke dunia. When Indonesia was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, it has had a significant impact on the implementation of learning that was originally face-to-face, turned into distance-learning, or online. The implementation of the "Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR)" policy has consequences for the home as the center of learning activities. In this context, the role of family education, in this case, parents, greatly determines the success of education during "Belajar Dari Rumah", especially the tutoring carried out by parents. This study tries to elaborate on this phenomenon, especially related to the urgency of tutoring by parents on the education of adolescents in the "Belajar Dari Rumah" era. The method used is library research or (library research), with four steps, namely preparing tools in the form of pencils or pens and notebooks; compile a working bibliography; managing time; and reading and taking research notes. The findings in this study, namely during the implementation of "Belajar Dari Rumah", parents can provide tutoring so that adolescents achieve educational success, such as maintaining and ensuring children to live a clean and healthy life, accompanying children in doing school work, doing joint activities during at home, creating a comfortable environment for children, establishing intense communication with children, playing with children, being role models for children, providing supervision to family members, providing for and fulfilling family needs, guiding and motivating children, providing education, maintaining religious values, doing variety and innovation activities at home.Keywords: Family Education, Parental Guidance, Youth Education, Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR)
This research is based on the low learning outcomes of the study participants Paket B in PKBM Sakido Nagari Koto Alam District Pangkalan Lima Puluh Kota, this is allegedly due to interpersonal communication tutor. The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the interpersonal communication of tutor, (2) to describe the learning result of the learning community, and (3) to see the correlation between the interpersonal communication of the tutor and the learning result of the studying citizen. This study includes correlational quantitative research. The population in this study is the residents learn Paket B Class VIII. Data collection techniques with questionnaires arranged in the form of statement sheets. Technique of data analysis using formula of percentage and product moment correlation formula. The result of the research shows that (1) the interpersonal communication of the tutor is still not good, (2) the learning result of the VIII Grade Students in PKBM Sakido is low, and (3) there is a very significant correlation between the interpersonal communication of the tutor and the learners' learning result.
The issue that underlies this research is the poor development of children's early reading skills. This research aims to establish an effective and efficient model in stimulating early reading skills of children aged 4-5 years in Padang. The research used Research and Development from a combination of Borg & Gall and Dick & Carey design. Three major stages in conducting the process of research are (1) needs analysis (2) product development (3) testing. The research employed two times field testing, marking parents and fellows' suggestions. Besides, the model is finalized by the expert's recommendation. The effectiveness test of the model showed that children's early reading skills have improved using home environmental print.
This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of citizens learning Paket C in PKBM Merah Putih Kayutanam. This study aims to describe the perceptions of the learners on the management strategies used by the tutors in the C-class equivalency learning group and to illustrate the perceptions of the learners to the learning management strategy of the tutor with the learning outcomes in the C-class equivalent group learning group. This study is a quantitative correlational descriptive study with respondents of 20 participants of the study group Paket C at PKBM Merah Putih Kayutanam. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires and data collection tools using questionnaires. The results revealed that there is a significant relationship between the perceptions of learners to learning strategies tutors with learning outcomes.
