This research is motivated by the success of Learning Activity Studio (SKB) in carrying out activities, this is seen from the application of instruction by instructors at SKB Lima Puluh Kota. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of adult learning by instructor in terms of views, learning experiences, selfconcept, and readiness to learn. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study is residents learn training. Sampling technique in this research is simple random sampling from entire population. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, while the questionnaire data collection tool. Technique of data analysis by using formula of percentage. From the results of the study showed that: instructorapply learning experiencesin the learning process, instructorapply self-concept in the learning process, instructor apply readiness to study in the learning process.
The low development of early reading ability in early childhood can be caused by many factors, one of which is due to lack of stimulation from the family environment. The role of the family environment becomes very important, because both quantity and quality of the presence of children are spent more in the family. The family-based environmental print model is an innovation that can be used in stimulating early reading skills in children in the family. To be able to obtain optimal results in the use of this model, parents must understand the characteristics of early childhood learning. A correct parent's understanding of the characteristics of children's learning can make the stimulation process take place pleasantly, according to the child's learning style without any element of coercion from parents to children. In addition, the active role of parents can also be done with the right portion of the sign of showing an uncaring attitude or just letting go of the extraction of children's interest in media and conditions that have been prepared using the environmental print model. PENDAHULUANSetiap anak memiliki banyak potensi kecerdasan yang dapat berkembang secara optimal jika adanya dukungan dari lingkungan. Namun sebaliknya tanpa adanya dukungan dari lingkungan, berbagai potensi yang dimiliki anak tersebut sulit untuk berkembang dengan baik dan bahkan potensi tersebut bisa hilang. Oleh sebab itulah Vygotsky (dalam Sujiono, 2009) menyarankan adanya scaffolding dalam kegiatan pengembangan potensi anak. Berdasarkan kajian berbagai pakar baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri dikatakan, minimal ada tiga lingkungan yang selalu berperan dalam hal berkembang atau tidaknya potensi yang dimiliki setiap anak, yaitu keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat. Jika ketiga lingkungan tersebut mampu saling berkoordinasi dan berperan secara optimal maka perkembangan potensi setiap anak dapat dieksplor dengan baik, namun kondisi sebaliknya akan terjadi jika ketiga lingkungan tersebut tidak saling terkoordinasi.Dari ketiga lingkungan tersebut, lingkungan keluarga merupakan lingkungan pertama dan utama bagi setiap anak yang terlahir ke dunia. This article proposed some important issues relating with teaching English vocabulary. This article also quoted various literature that have a correaltion with teaching English vocabulary for Indonesian students who were not from English Department. Specially, this article discussed about some issues relating with teaching strategy (Metacognitive strategy) and its procedure in teaching English vocabulary to the students. At last, this article might give a recommendation for those students in improving their English vocabulary.
The issue that underlies this research is the poor development of children's early reading skills. This research aims to establish an effective and efficient model in stimulating early reading skills of children aged 4-5 years in Padang. The research used Research and Development from a combination of Borg & Gall and Dick & Carey design. Three major stages in conducting the process of research are (1) needs analysis (2) product development (3) testing. The research employed two times field testing, marking parents and fellows' suggestions. Besides, the model is finalized by the expert's recommendation. The effectiveness test of the model showed that children's early reading skills have improved using home environmental print.
Internalisasi dalam membentuk kependidikan berkarakter dapat diterapkan melalui nilai kearifan lokal pada pembelajaran Matematika di SD. Hal ini dipentingkan agar tidak terjadinya penurunan nilai kebudayaan dalam pembelajaran Matematika di SD. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjabarkan proses internalisasi dalam pembentukan karakter melalui penerapan nilai kearifan lokal pada pembelajaran matematika di SD. Penggunaan metode dilakukan dengan studi kepustakaan dengan metanalisis darimsepuluh hasil review jurnal nasional yang didasari oleh empat proses internalisasi yang dijadikan sebagai indikator dalam penelitian ini, yaitu internalisasi pada masa anak, masa remaja, masa dewasa, dan masa usai lanjut. Keempat proses internalisasi diintegrasikan untuk penguatan kependidikan yang berkarakter agar terciptanya nilai kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran matematika di SD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan proses internalisasi pada masa anak dan masa remaja yang sesuai dalam pembentukan kependidikan karakter karena pada masa ini nilai kearifan lokal dapat diterapkan melalui pembelajaran Matematika di SD. Anak perlu diberikan pembimbingan oleh guru di sekolah agar mempunyai Nilai berbudaya yang berkarakter, bertingkah laku sesuai dengan nilai kebudayaaan dan beragama, bertanggung jawab, kemandirian, berkeratif yang diterapkan oleh guru kepada siswa dalam pembelajaran Matematika.
