This study aims to determine the process of developing android-based learning media on comparative material to improve mathematical problem-solving skills and find validation through android-based learning media to improve mathematical problem-solving abilities. This research was conducted through research and development, where this research refers to 4D development, which consists of four steps: define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research was carried out to develop measures due to restrictions on the activities of emergency communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic; this is one of the limitations of this research. Researchers use documents such as curriculum to collect data at the define and design stages, while a validation sheet is used for the development stage. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative at the define and design stage, and the development stage uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The main finding in this research is the prototype of android learning media on ratio. The results showed that V Aiken obtained more than 0.750, so this media prototype can be used for the following research stage.
The Covid-19 pandemic is one of the great catalysts that spurs transformation in the world of education. This encourages the importance of understanding teacher digital literacy in responding to educational transformation during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this Community Service (PkM) is to provide information and increase teacher knowledge of digital literacy during learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The PkM targets are teachers in the provinces of West Java, Central Java, East Java, and DIY. The activity carried out was to provide education about the importance of digital literacy in responding to the transformation of education during the Covid-19 pandemic. The stages of this activity consist of 1) planning stage; 2) preparation stage, 3) implementation stage, and 4) evaluation stage. Before and after the activity, the PkM team provided a digital literacy questionnaire. The results of the PkM activity showed a significant increase in understanding of digital literacy, which was 21.3%.
This study aims to 1) identify the content validity of observations of students' social attitudes, 2) identify the construct validity of the observation instruments of students 'social attitudes, and 3) identify the reliability of observations of students' social attitudes. The subjects of this study were grades IV, and V of elementary school students in Yogyakarta province selected using cluster random sampling. Observation guidelines were used to collect the data using a summative rating scale model. The content validity was analyzed by applying Aiken assisted by Microsoft Excel, the construct validity by using second-order Confirmatory Factor Analysis assisted by Lisrel, and the reliability by using the Omega reliability approach. The results indicated that all items were valid by which the content validity. The construct validity with the Confirmatory Factor Analysis is high. The reliability values of the observation instruments were reliable.
This article addresses achievements in three aspects gained by school principals as the main target of a partnership program, i.e. curriculum management, academic supervision, and entrepreneurship development. The data were collected in a six-month period as a result of the mentoring process of the school principals and their facilitators by conducting intervening mentoring process. The qualitative data were collected from the implementation of an action plan and were analyzed by using the fishbone diagram in order to reveal some main related factors to achieve their essential elements. The findings show that those three aspects being assessed in this study experienced a positive trend to those of eight school principals by establishing 8.88% level of improvement-from the initial mentoring stage (83.5%) to the second mentoring stage of 92.38%.
<p style="text-align: justify;">The purpose of this research is to analyze the achievement of the results, progress, and obstacles encountered during the two years of the commencement of the principals’ partnership program in Indonesia. The scope of the Principal's Partnership program comprises three main components, such as curriculum management, academic supervision, and management of the school ecosystem. Data were analyzed using survey methods. Sampling data were taken from 106 impacted schools, using the percentage results of action plan reports in 15 indicators from the three main components program's implementation. The findings indicate that the principal partnership program activities, in general, have been well implemented and according to the percentage target of the principal's partnership program with a national increase in achievement of the Curriculum Management component from 61% to 69%, academic supervision from 61% to 71% and management of the school ecosystem from 48% to 56%. The percentage increase also occurs when instrument data is processed per indicator in components. The findings imply that the partnership program has a significant impact on equity growth in remote areas.</p>
