Honest and discipline as learning outcomes need to be assessed. Many teachers have difficulty developing honesty and discipline assessments. The lack of honest and discipline assessment instruments require special attention in development. The purposes of this developmental research were to find out: (1) honest and discipline instrument indicators; (2) content validity of the instrument; (3) construct validity of the instrument; (4) instrument reliability and (5) instrument application for assessment. The research method used the development of affective instruments. The research subjects were 140 students of grade IV and V on the elementary school. The instrument used a peer-assessment model with a summative rating scale. Data analysis technique used content validity with Aiken index; construct validity with Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA); reliability with Cronbach; and application of instrument with descriptive quantitative. The results of the study were indicators of honest assessment instruments and discipline of the peer-assessment model, consisted of 4, honest: convey the true information and do the examination independently. Discipline: come to school on time and obey the rules of the school. The content validity of the developed assessment instruments based on the theory had fulfilled and included in the high category. The construct validity for the developed instrument had fulfilled; means, all items were valid. Reliability of the developed instrument had met the requirements; means, the instruments were reliable. The developed instruments can be used for assessment and proved by the use of instruments for honest and disciplined assessment of elementary school students.
The implementation of Curriculum 2013 at primary school level brings about its own problems to teachers. A serious problem emerges in the assessment, especially the assessment of core competence for the social attitude aspect. This problem arises because social attitude has many dimensions and requires judgments in diverse forms. In addition, the assessment of social attitude is focused on the affective sphere. The objective of this research is to assess the social attitude of grade IV and/or V students of primary school using three integrated instrument models: self-assessment (SA), peer assessment (PA), and observational assessment (OA). This research employed qualitative approach. The respondents were 58 students chosen by using cluster random sampling and purposive sampling techniques. The data were collected through direct disclosure questionnaire and observation, and analyzed descriptive quantitatively. The results of the research are as follows: (1) the component of honesty attitude is in category A (entrusted); (2) the component of discipline is in category A (entrusted); (3) the responsibility component is in category B (developing); (4) the politeness component is in category B (developing); (5) caring component is in category B (developing); (6) confidence component is category A (entrusted); and (7) students' social attitude is mainly in category B (good) which indicates that most students have good social attitude.
This paper presents an object-oriented modelling approach to production scheduling for FMS. The purpose of this study is to prepare a simulation tool to try a method of production scheduling that allocates jobs to the machines and cutting tools in an FMS. This model is developed by using Pharo as the language software for object-oriented programming through UML system design. This model consists of three types of classes. The first type is the Equipment-class, which related to the physical equipment in the FMS, for example machining-centers, cutting tools, pallet stocker, stacker crane. The second type is the Product-class that related to the information how to process the product. This class has sub-class such as process plan, machining operation and required cutting tools. The third class is the Production Planning and Controlling (PPC) class, which related to create the schedule to equipment. The PPC-class has sub-classes such as the daily order or job, job sequence, job allocation on machine and scheduling methods. A numerical example is provided in this paper to show that the object-oriented model for FMS and production scheduling is verified. The FMS consist of four identical machining centers and eight jobs. Each job has a process plan that requires some specific cutting tool types. The method for production scheduling in this model is Shortest Processing Time (SPT). The production scheduling performance is measured in this model.
To provide educational and learning services to students during the Covid-19 Pandemic, learning is carried out by learning from home. The disparity in learning achievements, especially related to attitude competencies, is strongly experienced during learning from home. This study aims to integrate attitude values through learning with Ki Hajar Dewantara’s scaffolding concept comprising Identifying, Imitating, Developing, Disseminating respectively. This scaffolding is applied to strengthen the character of junior high school students in Yogyakarta Special Province to become Pancasila Students. This is a Research and Development study which applies a qualitative approach. Respondents to this study were teachers, principals, students, parents and junior high school supervisors in this province. Data were collected using focus group discussion, interview, observation.. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman models which comprised data reduction, data display and inference stages. The results of this study is a character education strengthening model during learning from home applying Ki Hajar Dewantara’s scaffolding concept. This model contributes to policy making of character education strengthening during the learning from home online.
