Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengembangkan instrumen kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi fisika (PhysTHOTS) peserta didik SMA dan mendapatkan karakteristik PhysTHOTS. Kisi-kisi instrumen disusun berdasarkan aspek dan subaspek kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, yang selanjutnya digunakan untuk menyusun item-item. Instrumen terdiri atas dua perangkat tes yang masing-masing memiliki 26 item termasuk delapan anchor item dan telah divalidasi oleh ahli pengukuran, ahli pendidikan fisika, ahli fisika, dan praktisi. Instrumen yang telah divalidasi diujicobakan pada 1.001 siswa dari sepuluh SMAN di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Data politomus dianalisis menggunakan Partial Credit Model (PCM). Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa semua item sebanyak 44 dan instrumen PhysTHOTS terbukti fit dengan PCM, reliabilitas instrumen sebesar 0,95, indeks kesukaran item mulai -0,86 sampai 1,06 yang berarti semua item dalam kategori baik. Dengan demikian, PhysTHOTS memenuhi syarat digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi fisika peserta didik SMA.Kata kunci: pengembangan instrumen, tes kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, fisika, politomus, dan PCM ______________________________________________________________ DEVELOPING HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILL TEST OF PHYSICS (PhysTHOTS) FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTSAbstrak The objectives of this research were to develop an instrument for measuring senior high school students’ physics higher order thinking skills (PhysTHOTS) and to obtain the characteristics of the PhysHOTS. The instrument blue print was developed based on the aspects and sub-aspects of high order thinking skills, then it was used to develop the items. Two sets of instrument consisting of 26 items and each, including eight anchor items were then validated by promotors, measurement experts, physics specialists, physics education experts, and practitioners. The validated instruments were then tried out on 1,001 students of ten senior high schools throughout Special Province of Yogyakarta. The polytomous data were analyzed according to the Partial Credit Model (PCM). The results show that the 44 items and PhysTHOTS were fit to the PCM, the reliability of the test was 0.95, the items’ difficulty indexes were between -0.86 and 1.06. This study is conducted to develop the diagnostic test, which can be used to measure the higher-order thinking skill (HOTs) of students of first-grade senior high school in Bima district, West Nusa Tenggara. The step of developing instruments such as test which using modification model of Oreondo which include two activities such as test designing and test trials. The analysing technique of validity of content used Aiken formula, classical test theory used software Iteman 4.3, the model of Rasch used software Winstep and analysing reliability used software SPSS. The conclusion which can be taken are developing instrument has the characteristics as a useful instrument and fulfil requirement used to measure. This case proved from the data of analysis result which confirm that the instrument has been achieved the content of validity by expert judgment and obtained the empirical evidence, both as classical test theory or Rasch model.
Tujuan penelitian ini terdiri dari: 1) mengeksplorasi pelaksanaan blended learning mata kuliah teori tes klasik; 2) mengembangkan sistem pembelajaran blended learning; dan 3) melihat efektivitas pelaksanaan pembelajaran blended learning di pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian partisipatoris tindakan dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek yang digunakan adalah 18 siswa pascasarjana pada Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan dengan satu orang pengampu dan satu orang tutor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran Blended Learning merupakan pembelajaran berbasis Active Learning yang sangat baik untuk di implementasikan pada pendidikan tinggi. Dengan kriteria utama yang harus dilakukan yaitu: 1) kesiapan fasilitas sistem dan perencanaan yang matang; 2) pengembangan konten yang lengkap dan menarik; dan 3) monitoring dan evaluasi secara rutin pada proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran Blended pada Mata Kuliah TTK yang dilaksanakan pada satu semester memiliki kelebihan yaitu penyiapan materi dan relevansi materi yang disajikan sangat baik. Akan tetapi, masih ada kelemahan yaitu implementasi pembelajaran aktif masih belum maksimal disebabkan masih adanya proses adaptasi dari dosen dan mahasiswa karena sebelumnya belum pernah dilakukan perkuliahan berbasis Blended.Kata kunci: Inovasi, pembelajaran, teori tes klasikEffectiveness of blended learning in industrial era educational innovations 4.0 on classical test theory coursesAbstractThe purpose of this study consists of 1) to explore the implementation of classical learning theory approaches blended learning; 2) the development of a coeducational learning system, and 3) the effectiveness of implementing coeducational education in graduate courses at Yogyakarta State University. The method used is participatory research work with quantitative descriptive analysis. The materials used were 18 graduate students in research and educational assessment with one supervisor and one teacher. The results showed that blended learning is active learning based on learning and is very good to implement in higher education. With the main criteria to be done, namely; 1) readiness of system facilities and careful planning; 2) the development of complete and exciting content. 3) Monitoring and evaluation the learning process regularly. Combined learning in TTK courses conducted in one semester have advantages, namely the preparation of materials and the importance of the materials provided very well. However, there is still a weakness that the implementation of active learning is still not ideal because there is still an adaptation process of lecturers and students because previously, blended-based lectures never took place.Keywords: Educational learning, classical test theory, innovative
Keharusan publikasi ilmiah dari Pemerintah, dapat mendorong dosen untuk meningkatkan kualitas, kuantitas penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah. Sehubungan dengan hal ini, tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengeksplor kinerja dosen di bidang penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah. Informasi ini dapat digunakan oleh stakeholderuntuk melakukan pembinaan terhadap kinerja dosen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dan untuk mengumpulkan data digunakan kuesioner yang memiliki validitas dan reliabilitas tinggi, dilengkapi dengan teknik observasi. Pada tahap awal, responden penelitian ini adalah 92 dosen Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta yang terdiri dari 22 Asisten ahli, 26 Lektor, 28 Lektor Kepala, dan 16 Profesor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama tiga tahun terakhir skor kinerja dosen dalam bidang penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah untuk semua kelompok jabatan mengalami peningkatan, tetapi ada perbedaan skor kinerja dosen dalam penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah bila dilihat dari jabatan dosen. Guru Besar menduduki ranking tertinggi, baik untuk skor kinerja dosen dalam penelitian maupun publikasi ilmiah diikuti oleh Lektor Kepala, Lektor, dan Asisten Ahli.Kata kunci: kinerja dosen, penelitian, publikasi ilmiah LECTURERS’ PERFORMANCE IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND PUBLICATIONAbstractThe necessity of scientific publication insisted by the government can encourage lecturers to improve their scientific research and publication, both in quality and quantity. In connection with this fact, this research is aimed at exploring lecturers’ performance in terms of scientific research and publication. The information gained through the result of this study can be used by the stakeholder to develop the lecturers’ performance. This study is a survey research employing high-validity-and-reliability questionnaire to collect the data, completed with the employment of observation technique. At the initial stage, the respondents of the study were 92 lecturers of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta consisting of 22 instructors, 26 assistant professors, 28 associate professors, and 16 professors. The results of the study indicate that during the last three years, there is an increase on the total scientific research performance score and publication at every level of the functional position, but there is also a difference the scientific research performance score and publication seen from these functional positions. Professors are at the highest rank of the scientific research performance score and publication, followed by associate professors, assistant professors, and instructors.Keywords: lecturers’ performance, scientific research, scientific publication
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui hasil penskalaan instrumen multiple intelligences (MI) pada tipe Thurstone dan Likert dengan pendekatan klasik, 2) mengetahui karakteristik instrument MI pada tipe Thurstone dan Likert pada data asli dan data yang diskalakan, 3) membandingkan karakteristik psikometrik pada kedua tipe data yang sudah diskalakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang pelaksanaannya terdiri dari empat bagian yang saling terkait, yaitu penelitian pengembangan instrumen, penskalaan pada data hasil ujicoba, analisis karakteristik psikometrik instrumen, dan perbandingan karakteristik psikometrik instrumen. Instrumen dikembangkan menggunakan tipe Thurstone dan Likert pada konstruk yang sama. Perbandingan karakteristik psikometrik kedua instrumen dilakukan secara diskriptif. Hasil penskalaan dengan metode paired comparison didapatkan urutan skor stimulus dari yang terendah yaitu: logika matematika, musik, linguistik, kinestetik, naturalis, visual, interpersonal, eksistensial dan intrapersonal. Penskalaan dengan metode summated rating dihasilkan skor terstandar dari yang rendah hingga tinggi pada tiap respons. Terdapat perubahan skor, varian, reliabilitas dan kesalahan baku pengukuran (SEM) dari data asli dengan data yang diskalakan. Koefisien reliabilitas dan SEM instrumen tipe Thurstone lebih rendah dibanding tipe Likert. Kata kunci: penskalaan, multiple intelligences, tipe Thurstone, tipe Likert ______________________________________________________________SCALING CLASSICAL THEORY OF MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES CLASSICAL INSTRUMENT TYPE THURSTONE AND LIKERTAbstract The study aimed to: 1) result the scaling data of multiple intelligence (MI) instruments of Thurstone and Likert types using the classical approach, 2) reveal the psychometric characteristics of Thurstone and Likert types in the original data and the scaled data, 3) compare the psychometric characteristics of the two types of data. The study used the quantitative research approach. The activity consisted of: developing instruments, processing the data scaling, analyzing the psychometric characteristics of the instruments, and comparing the psychometric characteristics of them. The instrument was developed using Thurstone and Likert types in the same constructs. The comparison of psychometric characteristics of two types of data was analyzed by descriptive statistic. The result of scaling using paired comparison method are the sequential scores from a low to high on mathematical-logical, musical, linguistic, kinesthetic, natural, visual, interpersonal, existential and intrapersonal inteligence. The scaling using summated rating produce scores that vary in each response. There are changes of variants and standard error of measurement (SEM) after transformed data. Teacher empowerment is a central issue in relation to the efforts to improve the quality of education. However, teacher empowerment will remain an abstract idea if its implementation is not supported by an appropriate strategy. The demands for a quality education will be unreciprocated if teachers do not have the opportunity to empower themselves. This research aims to investigate the teacher empowerment strategy in Indonesia, which has been conducted by employing a community-based teacher training program. This study has highlighted several research questions: What is meant by community-based training program? Why is the training program needed? Who is the target of the training program? What model has been used to implement the training? What are the results of the training that has been executed? This research was conducted from November 2018 to January 2019. The research data were collected by means of documentation studies and interviews. The data analysis was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively, where the quantitative analysis was processed based on the document study data, meanwhile the qualitative analysis was performed based on the interview data. The research results showed that community-based teacher training was transformation of teacher development strategy as a follow-up on teachers’ competency test in Indonesia. The community-based teacher training succeeded in increasing the professionalism of teachers in Indonesia, particularly in terms of implementing their pedagogical and professional competencies. The training is also successful in motivating the teachers to engage themselves in continuous learning efforts through building strong teachers’ network and working collaboratively with colleagues. Quantitatively, training was proven to increase the average of teacher competency by 23.97 (on a scale of 100). The research results are expected to provide information about the best practice in teacher coaching that is conducted massively in a national scope based on the local community so that a lifelong learning culture for teachers is established to support the development of sustainable education.
