The problem 'of the Real-Time virtual instrument is presented. The requirements for the RealTime conditions are explained. The method of the instrument time analysis is proposed. The virtual spectrum analyser is examined ,in ' order to reveal properties of the software functions. The optimisation procedure is described and its results are presented. The conclusions fo,r the future developers have been articulated.
A m : An approach to virtual instrumentution (VI) time analysis is presented. A problem of computational complerity from both, metrological und programming aspects is described. Tests with the basic LabVIEW functions were performed The verification of the approach, referring to the thorough virtual instrument tests and the time optimization process, is described.Some conclusions concerning the design of the Real-Time virtual instruments ore presented.
