Time analysis of virtual spectrum analyzer

Abstract: The problem 'of the Real-Time virtual instrument is presented. The requirements for the RealTime conditions are explained. The method of the instrument time analysis is proposed. The virtual spectrum analyser is examined ,in ' order to reveal properties of the software functions. The optimisation procedure is described and its results are presented. The conclusions fo,r the future developers have been articulated.

“…The model describes the relations between particular elements of the virtual instrument and interactions between the user and the virtual instrument itself. Errors made by designers during the stage of model development are very difficult to eliminate during the subsequent stages of the virtual instrument development [4]. After the implementation of the virtual instrument, the costs of eliminating errors made during the construction of assumptions can be so high that they may constitute even a half of the total project costs [9].…”

“…According to the expression (3), the matrix will include the results calculated on the basis of the expression (4,5). The value of f(1,2), e.g., in the matrix (3) means that first the button MIN-AUTO (MANUAL) is chosen, and then the button MAX-AUTO (MANUAL).…”

“…Where funds are limited or many identical devices must be assembled, this solution is an optimal one. The disadvantage is the dependency of the application on the computer configuration it is deployed ( [1], [2]). Therefore time optimization is required, often giving increase of efficiency [2].…”
