Time aspects of virtual instrument designing

Abstract: A m : An approach to virtual instrumentution (VI) time analysis is presented. A problem of computational complerity from both, metrological und programming aspects is described. Tests with the basic LabVIEW functions were performed The verification of the approach, referring to the thorough virtual instrument tests and the time optimization process, is described. Some conclusions concerning the design of the Real-Time virtual instruments ore presented.
