The research is devoted to the study of the influence of the modern antioxidant of the flavonoid group ‘Dihydroquercetin’ as part of the feed combination on the hematological profile and biochemical parameters of the blood of broiler chickens of the KOBB-500 cross. The content of hemoglobin and erythrocytes in the blood of broilers receiving dihydroquercetin increased, which indicates an increase in the intensity of redox processes in the body. The number of leukocytes in all groups was normal, but in the experimental groups their decrease was noted, which indicates the therapeutic and immunostimulating effect of the drug. Evaluation of protein metabolism by the content of total protein and the fraction of albumin in the blood serum showed its positive dynamics within the normal physiological values, which characterizes an increase in the intensity of assimilation processes in the bird’s body. The metabolism of carbohydrates was assessed by the content of glucose in it, and a decrease in its level indicates its increased consumption as an energy component for metabolic processes associated with intensive growth of chickens. An increase in the activity of alkaline phosphatase by 1.3-1.8 times is associated with the active growth of chickens.
The article presents the results of studies of the effectiveness of the use of the complex probiotic preparation Immunoflor in young hens of egg cross. In the course of the research work, it was found that the use of the probiotic preparation Immunoflor does not affect the clinical and physiological state of the body of young chickens, but at the same time reduces the incidence, mortality and increases the safety of the chickens by enriching and balancing the poultry diet, reducing the conversion feed, optimization of digestion, stimulation of the development of positive microflora in the gastrointestinal tract. The use of the complex probiotic preparation Immunoflor in the diet of young chickens at a dose of 15 g/t of water and 15 g/t of feed contributes to an increase in the number of erythrocytes, leukocytes and hemoglobin concentration, activation of cellular and humoral factors of nonspecific resistance of the body of chickens, providing a normal physiological state and homeostasis.
Research is devoted to the study of the feasibility of using a natural antioxidant of plant origin as a biologically active additive to the basic diet and assessing the effectiveness of its use to increase the meat productivity of broiler chickens. In our work we examined the broiler chickens productivity and quality when using the drug ‘Dihydroquercetin’ (LLC’Kakhor’, Zima, Irkutsk region, Russia) in diets and established the amount of feed consumed and its costs per unit of production. Based on the studies, the addition of the preparation enables to increase the safety of broiler chickens by 20…30%, live mass - by 12…33%, mass of ripped carcass - by 15…38%, muscle tissue - by 3%, thoracic muscles - by 0.3…2%, and edible parts of carcass -by 2…6%. Moreover, the additive reduces the feed consumption by a head during the fattening period by an average of 46.09 g compared to the control.
This paper highlights the study results on the usage effectiveness of the domestic complex probiotic preparation Immunoflor developed by PC KROS Farm LLC on Dekalb White egg cross chickens in the production of edible eggs. The work was carried out in the conditions of the agricultural production cooperative "Gornomariyskaya Poultry Farm" of the Republic of Mari El. During the experiment, it was found that eggs from laying hens with the highest weight and more close to the ideal shape were obtained in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups. Indicators of weight, elastic shell strain, albumen index were higher in the experimental groups relative to the control. By the end of the productive period, the yolk index was higher in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups than in the control by 0.12 and 0.7%, respectively. An increase in the albumen height and the indicator of Haugh units was noted in the eggs of the 1st and 2nd experimental groups relative to the control. It was found that egg mass loss decreased when they were stored for 14 days. Thus, the weight of eggs increased and their morphological indicators improved against the background of using a complex probiotic preparation in young poultry.
Relevance. In modern conditions of industrial poultry farming, technological methods in many respects do not correspond to the biological needs of the bird's body. A high concentration of poultry in limited areas, year-round stay in enclosed spaces in cages leads to negative consequences. Under the influence of unfavorable factors, nonspecific resistance and immunobiological reactivity of the organism decrease. Therefore, at present, the issues of implementing the reproductive qualities and productivity of poultry through the directed impact of biologically active substances are of particular relevance.Methods. The methodology of the work was to study the effectiveness of the use of immunostimulating drugs PS-7 and Prevention-N-C for actualization of the productive and reproductive qualities of hens of the parent flock of the Hubbard F-15 cross. The objects of research were hens of the parent flock of broilers of the French cross Hubbard F-15. In the scientific and economic experiment, according to the principle of analogue groups, three groups of birds were formed with 150 heads each: one control and two experimental groups. Chickens of the 1st experimental group at the age of 21–23 weeks were fed with water three times with an interval of 7 days the biopreparation PS-7 at a dose of 0.1 ml/kg of body weight, chickens of the 2nd experimental group — Prevention-N-C at the same dose and timing.Results. It was found that the use of tested preparations based on the polysaccharide complex of Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells and benzimedazole contributed to an earlier peak of egg production (by 2.0 and 3.0 weeks), increased egg yield on the initial laying hen (by 5.1 and 6.6%) and the average laying hen (by 2.8 and 2.0%), gross egg production (by 1,365 and 1,770 eggs) and livability (by 2.0 and 4.0%). The use of the tested preparations contributed to the improvement of the morphological parameters of eggs and, as a result, the withdrawal of chickens by 0.8 and 2.0%.
Infected shells are one of the main routes of human infection with Salmonella, which causes foodborne illness. To increase the microbiological safety of fresh chicken eggs and food egg products, shell disinfection is necessary. The presented work highlights the results of an experimental study of the disinfecting properties of an agent based on polyhexamethylene guanidine chloride (PHMG) and a veterinary and sanitary assessment of edible chicken eggs after shell disinfection. Disinfecting properties of PHMG, microbiological, organoleptic and quality indicators were established by standard methods. In experiments with cambric test objects, inactivation is provided by: Salmonella typhimurium (ST) - 0.4% solutions (exposure 2-5 min), Escherichia coli - 0.4% (exposure 2 min) and 0.3% solutions (exposure 5 min).) DB. In production conditions, it has been established that the use of a 0.4% PHMG solution for disinfection with exposure for 2 and 5 minutes ensures the inactivation of ST on the shell surface. Disinfection of the shell does not affect the change in the pH value and egg weight during storage, as well as the state of the shell, air chamber, egg white, yolk. Eggs after disinfection for 15 days of storage at a temperature of (4 ± 2) ° C met the requirements for edible chicken eggs. Studies of the tested drug have shown the effect of the PHMG shell disinfection on the safety and quality indicators of edible eggs.
The quality of the received products directly depends on the state of the microflora of the gastroin-testinal tract that is reflected, in particular, on the egg productivity of laying hens. As a result, the use of biologically safe preparations, namely, probiotics, is becoming a priority in the poultry industry. This work aims to establish the feasibility and effectiveness of the use of the complex probiotic products Immunoflor in the diet of laying chickens of the Dekalb White Cross. Based on the comprehensive research, the feasibility of using the complex probiotic product Immunoflor in egg production technology to improve the egg-laying capacity and the quality of the obtained eggs of laying hens of the Dekalb White cross was scientifically substantiated and experimentally proven. Against the background of the use of this drug, it was found that the average daily egg-laying capacity in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups exceeded the control layers: on the 150th day - by 9.66% and 8.48%, on the 180th day - 8.8% and 5.04%, on the 210th day - 8.16% and 6.44%, on the 240th day –11.68% and 3.8%, 270th day – 7.72% and 4.84%, on the 300th day – 8.34% and 5.86%. Besides, the average daily egg mass in the 1 and 2 experimental groups was higher than in the control by 4.04 g and 3.1 g or 7.38% and 5.77%; on the 7th day of storage, the average value exceeded by 4.06 g and 3.1 g or 7.53% and 5.87%; on the 14th day - by 4.32 g and 3.16 g, or 8.18% and 6.12%, respectively. It was found that on the 7th day of storage, the mass loss in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups was 1.50% and 1.56%, which is lower than in the control (1.66%). On the 14th day of storage, the mass loss in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups was 1.95% and 2.36%, which is also lower than in the control (2.63%). With the use of the probiotic preparation, the loss in egg mass decreases. On the 7th day of storage, the mass loss in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups was 1.50% and 1.56%, which is lower than in the control group (1.66%). On the 14th day of storage, the mass loss in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups was 1.95% and 2.36%, which is also lower than in the control (2.63%).
