The purpose of the work: to reveal the peculiarities of teaching students the technique of sports swimming. Methodology: theoretical research methods were used, in particular, the analysis and generalization of methodological, psychological-pedagogical and educational-methodical literature, which made it possible to determine the peculiarities of teaching students the technique of sports swimming. Scientific novelty: swimming, as a sport, is associated with the execution of cyclic movements, the main task of which is to achieve a high result. In terms of the number of Olympic medals won, swimming is second only to athletics, so swimming as an educational subject is one of the most important disciplines of the physical education course in higher education institutions. However, the content of training in this subject is not always in accordance with the modern theory of swimming. The forms and methods of teaching have been improved, the technique of sports swimming methods, starts and turns of the world's leading swimmers is being studied. One of the tasks of the article is to summarize the valuable work experience of domestic swimming sports specialists of the country's leading universities. Conclusions: optimization of the teaching of this discipline is important for the further expansion of the possibilities of using swimming aids in practical activities with students. So, for example, the inclusion of new technologies for conducting classes in the educational process. Swimming classes with students are often conducted by teachers of various sports specializations, who have difficulties in selecting equipment, choosing methods and teaching methods, therefore it is important to reveal the peculiarities of teaching sports swimming techniques. Also, in the article, the peculiarities of teaching the technique of sports swimming, in addition to the characteristics of the main movements, historical information about the method of swimming is disclosed, its general characteristics, sports and applied significance are given. The technique of performing starts and turns is described in detail.
The article reveals the features of the correction of the psychophysical state of students by means of swimming. It has been determined that swimming is one of the most common sports among students. The influence of swimming not only on the development of physical qualities, but also on the improvement of the morpho-functional and mental indicators of a person is characterized. The formation of students' conscious attitude to their health, the development of the need for regular exercise, the formation of self-confidence and the ability to overcome significant physical exertion, especially in conditions of increased emotional and mental stress - one of the most important tasks of physical education in institutions physical education. Many authors believe that students with higher physical fitness are better able to adapt to new conditions that arise at the initial stage of learning, and this has a positive effect on their well-being, mental state, learning. There is an obvious relationship between the physical and mental state of student youth. Scientists and practitioners are developing new approaches to organizing and conducting classes that take into account the psychophysical condition of students. Psychophysical health of student youth is the main problem. Selection of means and methods of physical education should be carried out taking into account the peculiarities of the psychophysical state of the individual and contribute to the formation of a stable, mentally stable personality. Swimming is of great practical importance, is one of the means of physical development and health promotion. It reduces excessive excitability and irritability, strengthens the nervous system.
The article reveals the influence of swimming lessons on the level of motor fitness and psychoemotional state of student youth. A survey was carried out among student youth in order to determine their psycho-emotional state. It was revealed that one of the most popular sports among both boys and girls is swimming. It was found that regular swimming lessons not only increase the level of physical activity, but also have a positive effect on mental activity and psycho-emotional state of young people. The educational, upbringing, developmental and health-improving value of physical education in higher education institutions, its contribution to the professional training of future specialists is emphasized by many author. Physical education classes contribute to the overall harmonious development of man. However, experts note a sharp decline in interest in physical education among schoolchildren and students, as well as the insignificant effectiveness of these classes, which affects the physical development and health of modern youth. Yesterday's student, becoming a student, gets into new conditions, characterized by the intensity of the study load, active social contacts and stressful situations. That is why the search for the most effective forms and methods of strengthening the health of students by means of physical culture remains relevant.
The article reveals the peculiarities of the use of innovative technologies in swimming lessons for students of higher education institutions. It is found that the development of a large number of swimming movements simultaneously by all methods of swimming first light, then sports and elements of applied swimming allows at the initial stage to choose the easiest way first and gradually move to complex. This reduces the duration of the entire period of development of swimming techniques. It is established that the use of innovative technologies in teaching swimming to students contributes to the formation of their need for a healthy lifestyle, increase their level of preparedness and functionality of the body. Analysis of swimming programs used in higher education institutions shows that classes are usually built according to the traditional method with the parallel development of two similar in structure methods of rabbit on the chest and rabbit on the back. At the same time, the peculiarities of sex and age, interests, motives and needs of students, as well as individual features and tendencies to master a certain type of motor activity are not sufficiently taken into account. The organization of swimming lessons with young students in the mode of training, taking into account the above features, can significantly affect the formation of their need for a healthy lifestyle, health and prevent further deterioration.
