Novas demandas nas práticas do profissional de Contabilidade têm surgido no contexto da convergência das normas nacionais de Contabilidade aos IFRS. Tais demandas sugerem a adoção de um novo paradigma educacional, buscando inserir na prática pedagógica mecanismos e didáticas de ensino que utilizem metodologias ativas, caracterizadas pelo diálogo entre professor e aluno, através do qual o conhecimento é construído em conjunto, suplantando a metodologia usualmente chamada de concepção educacional passiva. Esta pesquisa buscou identificar a concepção educacional utilizada em uma IES pública de Salvador. Foi adotado um enfoque interpretativo, com uso de técnicas qualitativas e quantitativas. Os resultados sugerem que há uma predominância do modelo educacional de concepção passiva, caracterizado por uma perspectiva dominante do professor como detentor do conhecimento, desfavorecendo o desenvolvimento de novos profissionais com perfil crítico, analítico, reflexivo. Uma parte substancial dos respondentes também deixou clara a percepção de que o uso mais intenso de metodologias ativas poderia contribuir para formar profissionais com o perfil que o mercado tem buscado.
ResumoEste artigo identificou as práticas pedagógicas de 164 professores de Ciências Contábeis do Estado da Bahia, segregadas em ativas ou passivas, com maior ou menor participação discente, respectivamente. Aspectos como tipo de instituição de ensino, modalidade do ensino, experiência e capacitação pedagógica do docente, conteúdo programático, quantidade de alunos e avanço no curso foram posteriormente empregadas como possíveis variáveis explicativas das práticas. O diagnóstico construído com estatísticas descritivas e testes de Mann-Whitney revelou um ensino essencialmente passivo, com reduzida participação do discente. As variáveis independentes não foram capazes de explicar as práticas pedagógicas. Contradições foram encontradas no uso de práticas que caracterizam um ensino ativo como seminários, debates e discussão de casos por professores com marcantes características de ensino passivo, o que pode indicar um uso incompleto ou inadequado dessas práticas, que poderiam estar em uso de modo essencialmente passivo, comprometendo a eficácia da aprendizagem.Palavras-chave: Práticas Pedagógicas. Esse estudo tem como objetivo verificar a ocorrência de vieses cognitivos associados ao sunk cost (o viés sunk cost se manifesta quando um indivíduo apresenta maior disposição em continuar um investimento, mesmo tendo conhecimento de que os resultados ou retornos podem estar comprometidos somente pelo simples fato de já ter iniciado e aplicado algum recurso no projeto), considerando possíveis características dos respondentes como: tempo de experiência profissional e em cargos de gestão; período de vinculação profissional a entidades públicas ou privadas, bem como idade e gênero. Foi constituído um quase-experimento envolvendo situações com a ocorrência de sunk cost, contando com a participação de 128 alunos de cursos de pós-graduação de Instituições de Ensino Superior de Salvador, Bahia. As análises foram feitas com o uso de testes Qui-quadrado e teste paramétrico de igualdade de médias para verificar as diferenças das respostas, bem como associação do viés e outras variáveis. Os resultados da pesquisa indicaram a manifestação do viés relativo ao sunk cost. Contudo, não foi possível explicar a sua ocorrência a partir das variáveis. O fato de uma pessoas ser mais experiente em cargos de gestão não influencia na ocorrência do viés, bem como trabalhar em instituições que objetivam lucro como as entidades do setor privado, que a princípio esperava-se que tivesse impacto na ocorrência do viés, devido a pressões por parte dos proprietários a ter resultados positivos que garantam retornos do capital investido e a continuidade da empresa. Outras variáveis como idade e gênero também não influenciaram de forma significativa na ocorrência do fenômeno.
