Exclusive breastfeeding is breast-feeding for 6 months without any additional liquid. According to Health Department of Kabupaten Kediri in 2013, the exclusive breastfeeding program’s achievement is 57.2%. The lowest or the worst achievement of exclusive breastfeeding in Kediri is in Public Health center of Pranggang, it is 5.4%. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the correlation between mother’s knowledge and attitude in giving exclusive breastfeeding at territorial of Public Health in Pranggang - Kediri. The method which used in this study was the correlation of analytical studies using cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were all 54 breastfeeding mothers of babies aged 0-6 months in Pranggang, Punjul and Sumber Agung. The sampling technique in this study was the probability sampling with cluster sampling method. The samples in this study were 48 respondents. The results of the 48 respondents, 36 people (75%) had good breastfeeding. Statistical analysis of the data using the Spearman Rank test with a significance level of 0,05 and df = 46, it is obtained (5,694) ; t table (2,021). It shows that there is correlation between mother’s knowledge and attitude in giving exclusive breastfeeding for babies in age 0-6 months at territorial of Public Health in Pranggang. The writer hopes the midwifery will give motivation more to the mothers for giving exclusive breast-feeding.; Key words: Knowledge, Mother’s Attitude, Exclusive breastfeeding
At each stage of pregnancy , pregnant women will experience different psychological processes . In the third trimester approaching delivery day there will be a new turmoil to deal with childbirth . With the approach of the time of delivery , a mother haunted by face anxiety the birth process . Birth experience is different from one woman to another , as well as between the first delivery with the next labor in women at the same or different women. Psychological changes dealing labor influenced by several factors , one of which is a factor that can be determined prior experience of parity . The purpose of this study was to determine is there a relationship between parity with the level of anxiety in the third trimester pregnant women facing childbirth . This study uses cross-sectional correlation research design . The sample used by 30 respondents third trimester pregnant women with quota sampling technique . While the variables studied were parity using parity data collection table and anxiety levels using a questionnaire ( Scale HARS ) . The data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test with 95% confidence intervals . From the results of the study found the majority of respondents nullipara status ( 43.33 % ) and their level of anxiety experienced third trimester pregnant women were mostly anxiety ( 43.33 % ) . After analysis of data by using the Spearman correlation test results obtained by the relationship between parity with the level of anxiety in the third trimester pregnant women facing childbirth.
Stimulation is one of the factors that affect a child’s development. The age of 3-6 months is included in the first 1000 days of life which is a critical period in which the child's brain begins to develop. Mothers can stimulate children according to their developmental stages. During infancy, a close relationship exists between the mother and child, so the influence of mother in educating the childis very big. The purpose of this study is to find out the correlation between the mothers ability to stimulate 3-6 months infant with their development in Puhjarak Community Health Center in Kediri Regency. The research desain used correlational study. The data collection was done by conducting cross sectional methods, with population of 38 mothers and their babies. The sampling used simple random sampling technique with total sample of 35 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. The analysis data used spearman rank showed p value 0,001. The conclution of this research was there was a correlation between mothers ability to stimulate 3-6 months infant with their development in Puhjarak Community Health Center Kediri Regency. It is advisable for parents especially mothers to maintain or improve their ability to stimulate their children in all aspects of development in a balanced and appropriate waywith the infant’s age.
High risk pregnancy is a condition where the condition of pregnant women can cause the fetus not grow in a healthy, even death in the mother and fetus. Based on data from Kediri District Health Office in 2014 amounted to 28 187 pregnant women, while the high-risk pregnant women amounted to 5637 people (20%). Number of high risk pregnant women most at Puskesmas Blabak number of 249 people with a total cadre 110 people. Scope K1 96.2% (100%), K4 coverage 92% (95%), high-risk detection by the public 13.77% (20%), Bumil Risti handled 18.7% of health workers (20%), obstetric complications which handled 87% (80%), Assisted by health workers health facility 93% (95%). Rewards and motivation to the Posyandu cadres is very important, especially cadres escort high-risk pregnant women. In the course of the RBM awards are expected to further spur the cadres to participate in social work in order to press AKI, so that cadres can increase each year. The design used in this study is a survey research. Judging from the nature of this survey is a survey that is explanotory survey to test the truth of a hypothesis to explain the causal relationship between variables. Data collected by cross sectional namely data collection throughout the study subjects were collected directly from the respondents through kuesioner.Analisa data in this study using the program, namely Smart PLS structural equation modeling with a relatively small sample size and not membuhkan multivariate normal assumption. The results of the study are not any effect on the performance of internal motivation of cadres in the RBM program. No external motivation influence on the performance of cadres in the RBM program. External motivation has the greatest influence on the performance of cadres in the RBM program. From the results of this study are expected Department of Health and the village is expected to provide additional incentives for cadres accompanying high risk pregnant mothers.Keywords: Motivation, cadres
Bandar Lor Village, Kediri City, was ranked 2nd in stunting problems in toddlers in Kediri City (24.6%). The purpose of this community service is to increase understanding and holistic skills of breastfeeding love for pregnant women in order to increase milk production during childbirth and maintain positive psychology, while for health cadres it is to empower cadres to be able to help pregnant women improve their holistic love of breastfeeding skills and help mothers after giving birth in increasing milk production and exclusive breastfeeding coverage. Community service activities are carried out in 2 meetings with a distance of one week. Each meeting is held for 4 hours. Training was also given to 25 pregnant women and 25 health cadres. Skills provided on self-hypnosis breastfeeding, loving-kindness meditation, mindfulness feeding, acupressure breasfeeding and oxytocin massage. The results from the interview that participants have understood the theory and the given exercises are shown by filling out a questionnaire which results before training knowledge is 20% and during the evaluation it increases to 95% and skill improvement increase to 90%. Suggestions for further community service activities are to empower the community through other complementary activities in order to reduce stunting rates in Indonesia. ABSTRAK Desa Bandar Lor, Kota Kediri, menduduki peringkat 2 masalah stunting pada balita di Kota Kediri (24,6%). Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan ketrampilan holistic love breastfeeding pada ibu hamil guna menambah produksi ASI ketika melahirkan serta menjaga kondisi psikologi agar tetap positif, sedangkan untuk kader kesehatan adalah untuk memberdayakan kader agar dapat mendampingi ibu hamil dalam meningkatkan ketrampilan holistic love breastfeeding serta membantu ibu setelah melahirkan dalam meningkatkan produksi ASI dan memenuhi cakupan ASI ekskusif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan sebanyak 2x pertemuan dengan jarak satu minggu. Setiap pertemuan dilaksanakan selama 4 jam. Pelatihan juga diberikan kepada 25 ibu hamil dan 25 kader kesehatan. Keterampilan yang diberikan tentang self-hypnosis love breasfeeding, loving-kindness meditation, mindfulness feeding, acupressure breastfedding dan pijat oksitosin. Hasil dari dari wawancara bahwa peserta sudah memahami teori dan latihan yang diberikan yang dibuktikan dengan mengisi angket yang mana hasil sebelum pelatihan pengetahuan 20% dan saat evaluasi meningkat menjadi 95% serta peningkatan ketrampilan ≤ 90%. Saran untuk kegiatan pengabmas selanjutnya adalah memberdayakan masyarakat melalui kegiatan komplementer lainnya agar dapat menurunkan angka stunting di Indonesia.
Introduction: Physical changes in pregnant women, one of which is a heavy burden on the stomach which results in changes in body posture that make pregnant women have to rest and sleep enough. Pregnant women who have poor sleep quality will have a negative impact on themselves and their fetuses, so they require appropriate treatment, one of which is non-pharmacological therapy that directly affects sleep quality. Method: This study consists of various types of non-pharmacological therapies which are discussed in detail in the form of a literature review. This literature study uses a systematic mapping study design with literature searches using the PubMed and Google Scholar databases in the 2015-2021 range using the keywords lavender, pregnancy exercise, yoga, massage, sleep hygiene, cognitive behavioral therapy, progressive muscle relaxation, sleep quality in pregnancy. using the Bolen operator method. Result: The search results found 13 journals that met the inclusion criteria. The method used to minimize bias is the selection of homogeneity in the research design (experiment). There is an effect of non-pharmacological therapy on the quality of sleep of pregnant women before and after the intervention with the most influential therapy, namely back massage, pregnancy exercise, sleep hygiene and the simplest therapy is lavender aromatherapy. Conclusion: All interventions can be applied to pregnant women to help improve their sleep quality, but giving back massage interventions, pregnancy exercises, sleep hygiene and lavender aromatherapy is recommended for pregnant women because they have a more significant effect and are easy to do Keywords: Non-pharmacological therapy, sleep quality of pregnant women
The number of cases of cervical cancer in Kediri continues to increase, in 2004: 165 cases, 2005: 170 cases and 2006: 175 cases. Cumulative target achievement in 2009-2013 amounted to 12.16%. Coverage is still far below the annual target of Kediri has stepped fifth year that is equal to 80%.The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence women's attitudes Couples of Childbearing Age for cervical cancer screening methods IVA in Puskesmas City area north of Kediri. Design research is analytic observational cross-sectional approach. The population is all Couples of Childbearing Age women aged 30-50 years in the region of Northern Regional Health Center in the amount of 400 samples of 50 people were taken by cluster random sampling. The analysis used bivariate correlation analysis Chi-square and multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression.The result of this research is there is a relationship between knowledge (p-value = 0.00), resources (p-value = 0.001), family support (p-value = 0.001) and personal experiences (p-value = 0.016) with the attitude of women Couples of Childbearing Age did IVA cervical cancer screening method in Puskesmas City area north of Kediri and the factors that influence attitudes Couples of Childbearing Age woman doing IVA cervical cancer screening method in Puskesmas City area north of the town of Kediri is knowledge (p value = 0.003) with a big influence 2,176 .It can be concluded that the factors that influence women's attitudes Couples of Childbearing Age for cervical cancer screening methods IVA in Puskesmas City area north of Kediri is knowledge. Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has a negative impact on the mental health of pregnant women. Women are prone to psychological problems such as fatigue, emotional disturbances, mood disorders and anxiety disorders. Anxiety of pregnant women must be prevented so as not to cause negative impacts on pregnant women and their fetuses. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify the triggers for anxiety in pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic based on a systematic review. Method: The method used to search in PubMed, ProQuest, Google Scholar with the publication year starting 2020-2021. The critical appraisal used is The Joanna Briggs Institute JBI. Results: 20 articles met the inclusion criteria. Research and studies were conducted in China, Iran, Canada, Turkey, Indonesia and the USA. Anxiety trigger factors are identified into 2, namely threats to physical integrity and threats to the integrity of one's own system. Threats to physical integrity consist of age, parity, physical activity, trimester of pregnancy, pregnancy complications, food availability, COVID-19 prevention efforts. Threats to the integrity of the self system consist of education, occupation, history of depression, unplanned pregnancy, family income, location of residence, presence of caregivers, health facility services, COVID-19 information, life partners, social support, counseling, telemedicine and insurance services. Discussion and conclusion: There are many factors that cause anxiety during a pandemic. There is a need for new identification to identify risk factors for anxiety in pregnant women so that more comprehensive prevention efforts can be carried out involving various health professions in the service.
