ASBTRACTHousing temperature and housing system may influence productive performance and egg qualities. This research aimed to investigate the influence of different housing temperatures and housing system on productive performance and egg qualities. A total of 72 Lohmann hens were reared in litter and cage system with different housing temperatures of 18 o C and 30 o C. Each treatment consisted of 18 hens. Traits measured were productive performance (feed intake, hen day production, egg weight, egg mass, and feed conversion), egg internal and external qualities (egg shape index, Haugh Unit, air sack, albumin height, egg shell cleanless, egg shell thickness, and egg shell weight). This experiment was run twice according to housing system for each housing temperatures and was completely randomized design. Data was subjected to t-test and descriptive analyses. Productive production and egg quality in both housing systems did not differ. However, the egg weight was significantly heavier in cage system compared to litter system in neutral housing temperature.
The study aimed to determine the effect of kayambang leaves flour (Salvinia molesta) as a
constituent of broiler ration that contain omega-3 fatty acids, on body weight, percentage of abdominal fat and blood lipid profile including High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) and Low Density Lipropotein (LDL). The material used was 100 broiler chickens unsexied 15 days old with an average a body weight of 500 ± 6.99g. Ration treatment consisted of T0 (ration without Salvinia molesta leaf meal); T1 (ration with Salvinia molesta leaf meal 6 % ); T2 (ration with Salvinia molesta leaf meal 12 %); and T3 (ration with Salvinia molesta leaf meal 18 % ). The results of the study showed Salvinia molesta leaf meal in the ration of broiler chickens affect (P< 0.05) body weight. Treatment T1,T2 and T3 showed decreases compared with the control diet (T0). Abdominal fat percentage showed no significant differences (P <0.05). Increase in LDL from control to treatment and decrease HDL were found in this experiment. The conclusion states that the provision of Salvinia molesta flour up to 18 % decreased the live weight of broiler, but did not decrease abdominal fat percentage. The LDL blood was increased and HDL was decreased due to addition of Salvinia molesta flour.
Key words: Salvinia molesta, broiler chicken, fat, blood
Tourism was programmed to increase national income by improving an effective and valuable tourist object. Nowadays, tourism was being organized by both national and local government through incorporation with the third party. Tourism is a wide part of tourist object, tourist, tourism policy, and supporting tourism facilities that all of them should be integrated to build of that effective and valuable Indonesian tourism. Tourism development area should be stipulated on government regulation in their regional urban land use planning. That could be the government guidelines to setting and mapping the tourism policy based on the land use planning. But, tourism development area in Semarang Regency was contradicted to the urban land use planning regulation where happened of a rejection of tourist resort's location permit submission because of unclear and un-related regulation substance. That resort was classified as cultural heritage-based resort according to national Indonesian cultural protection regulation hence it was concluded as tourism supporting facility. The result of the research was public permit issuance at Semarang government had bad public service because of carpe diem problem. The resort had been accused to establish above Semarang urban green space and destructing river bank next to the resort land. According to Semarang Regional Government the resort break the rule of urban land use planning for agriculture land. Besides, there is indication of corrupt mentality among the government apparatus to let the permit by asking any beneficial feedbacks. The way to reform Semarang government was by moral reformation depend on Van Peurseun cultural theory.

This study was aimed to determined fat content and saturated fatty acid profile (SFA), unsaturated fatty
acid profil (PUFA and MUFA) broiler chicken meat feeding with kayambang leaf flour (Salvinia molesta). This
research used 100 broiler chickens at 15 days old unsex with average weight 500 ± 6,99 g. This research used
Completely Randomized Design. Ration treatments arranged for starter and finisher periods. Ration treatments
were T0 (ration without Salvinia molesta leaf meal); T1 (ration with Salvinia molesta leaf meal 6%); T2 (ration
with Salvinia molesta leaf meal 12%); and T3 (ration with Salvinia molesta leaf meal 18%). The fat content
data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of Variance at significance level of 5%. The fatty acid profile data
were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed that Salvinia molesta leaf meal
treatment in broiler diet didn’t affect significantly (P <0.05) of fat content of the meat. Fatty acid profile showed
amount of saturated fatty acids decreased from T0 to T3 of the amount of saturated fatty acids 53.21% to
24.57% and the amount of unsaturated fatty acids increased from 39.94% to 68.79% from T0 to T3. Based on
the results of the present study it was concluded that Salvinia molesta leaf meal can to reduce the content of
saturated fatty acid and increasing the content of unsaturated fatty acid.
Keywords: broiler chicken, Salvinia molesta, saturated fatty acid, unsaturated fatty acid
