The principal needs training to have managerial skills to optimize his performance. Otherwise, several studies have shown the opposite. This study aims to examine the effect of exercise and managerial skills on principal performance. This study is field research with a simple path analysis design. Data were obtained through questionnaires, observation, and documentation study. This study shows that there is an effect of training and principal managerial skills on principal performance. This indicates that the more intense the principal attends training and has a deep understanding of training material, the higher the principal organizational skills are. The higher the principal managerial skills are, the higher the quality of the principal performance is, which in turn increases the rate of the school.
The subjects of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) are the terms of Islamic Religious Education courses applied to universities of Muhammadiyah which is very significant in forming students as professional, intellectual, and personal religious learning learner according to the guidance of Islam that upholds the value of humanity,and able to compete in the era of globalization, therefore the implementation process of AIK curriculum subjects must be well managed, structured and systematic. This research is qualitative descriptive, conducted in STKIP Muhammadiyah Palopo, aimed to describe the implementation of curriculum management of the subjects of al-Islam and Kemuhammadiayahan in STKIP Muhammadiyah Palopo. Data collection techniques used interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used data reduction techniques, data display, and conclusions. The results showed that AIK curriculum management functions in STKIP Muhammadiyah Palopo were well implemented, supported by muhammadiyah cadres and other stakeholders.
The purpose of this paper is aiming to reveal the performance of fiqh teachers in the learning process at MTs in the District of Palopo, South Sulawesi. This research uses quantitative method with descriptive approach of pedagogic and management. Data collection methods such as questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation employed among 26 respondents encompass teachers, supervisors, headmasters, and students of MTs in Palopo and applied univariate descriptive statistics to analyzed the collected data. Regulation of the Minister for the Control of State Apparatus and Bureaucracy Reform No. 16 of 2009 Article 15 is used as a reference for assessing teacher performance in learning process. The results show that the performance of fiqh teachers has an average value score of 75.59 which means that if this score converted to the scale 1-100 then it is spotted in the interval score of 61-75. This implies that the performance quality of fiqh teachers in learning process at MTs in Palopo, categorized as enough.
